Corkscrewy
So I've spent many hours working on this today. I feel that it turned out fairly impressive. I'm not so happy with the last half of the ride but i feel it'll work. I've never been to Great Adventure so I used a few pictures and the TPR video. getting pictures of the station was the hardest part. I'm sure thats wrong but it'll work. I really like how I got the feel of a steel coaster down like Intamin I feel its a sign that I have recreated a very decent version of this beast because the amount of air-time was 6.66 .. so when i saw that i was like, alright. haha so let me know what you all think!! El Toro.SV6 SCR13.BMP the over view of El Toro!! SCR12.BMP The magnificant turn-around that many trees gave their lives to make SCR11.BMP El Toro's station and second hill! Eric_Smith
Correct me if I am wrong, but El Toro is wooden right?
Corkscrewy
Yeah. Whats your point??
Eric_Smith
Why do you have a steel track?
Corkscrewy
Its to get the feel of Intamins Plug-and-Play track. Which has been referred to as being as smooth as a steel roller coaster. And another point is these trains look far more simaliar to the ones on El Toro than the wooden ones. I just felt this gave it a more 'El Toro' feel. You could download the SOB trainer and put the hyper trains on wooden track. Thats what I would perfer.
steel
Or you could download a trainer that doesn't mess up your no entry signs and does about twice as much as SoB, like 8Cars.
Goliath513
Doesn't El Toro have dark brown supports and not light brown ones?
christianscoasters
I love the idea of using steel. In a way, it does look kinda realistic.
Corkscrewy
Well my problem with using 8cars.. it still wouldn't allow me to make the large hills like I wanted. You can't make those on wooden roller coasters. This is far more real looking and flowing. And as far as the color.. well.. Looks pretty light to me
coasterguy618
Doesn't El Toro have dark brown supports and not light brown ones? Yes, that is one more thing you need to change.
IwantRevenge
dude tha tpicture is one angle, the wood is dark, oh and one of the trains in a darker shade of brown than the other.
Corkscrewy
Well looking at every picture I could find i found it a lighter brown. But besides the color.. how is it.?
IwantRevenge
well for one thing, the back section is enver seen since rolling thunder covers it, the Q does'nt go underneeth the station, and you could have used diagnol turns for the back section oh and: it's dark brown , I took the picture myself.
