thefitness Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Bonjour! Parc De Jardins D’Aventure A park located in Nice, France. It is estimated that it opened sometime in 1960. The park opened with a wooden Wild Mouse Coaster, Savage Souris, and a Merry-Go-Round. Not much happened between the parks opening and 1972. Early 1974 the park was bought out by another company and started planning for the years to come. The first ride the new owners opened up was the Ferris Wheel , Roue De Rotation in 1975. In the next 10 years the owners slowly added the gardens so the parks name would make more sense. Tiny refurbs and modifications happened over the years. Times have been slow for the park, it’s a miracle it has lasted this long. Now 1988, The park just opened another coaster. Vieux Train De Mine, a Soquet mine train coaster, is now the most popular attraction at the park. It’s rumored the next attraction will be from Vekoma or Soquet. Join us back here for more updates. Salut! Rides Savage Souris-Wooden Wild Mouse (very old) Joyeux Allez En Rond- Carousel(very old) Roue De Rotation-Ferris Wheel Vieux Train De Mine- Mine Train Coaster Vieux Train De Mine. brandon Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 wow, the park looks great, other than the wild mouse, if it was repainted it would look better
thefitness Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 All right first "Official" Update. 1988- Parc De Jardins D'Aventure Bonjour! Vieux Train De Mine is still the most popular attraction at the park. Less and less people are riding Savage Souris. So now they only open it for a few hours a day. I thought it was ugly before, but with no body riding it it's even worse. The park does have some good news though! They are getting a Large Family Coaster from Soquet. It is supposed to have a custom layout, and be somewhat of a terrain coaster. No specs have been released but it will supposedly be the tallest coaster in the park. There are a few general park pictures and some on-ride shots! Salut! Looks like they are extending the pathways for the new coaster. (Next Update will be the coaster's construction. Hopefully it'll be a little more exciting than this update.) Going into the tunnel. Here' one of Vieux Train De Mine. A crappy on-ride shot. Almost there... Waiting in line for Savage Souris. I have a feeling it won't be around for much longer. The breaks and part of Vieux Train De Mine's station. The larger garden. Joyeux Allez En Rond has deffinately seen better days. One of the two gardens at the park. This is the smaller of the two. Park Sign.bmp
DATman Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Park of Gardens of Adventure is a mouthful of a name. Perhaps changing it to something more simple, like Les Jardins D'Aventure or Parc des Jardins. It looks nice, and the name should compliment the look of your park more.
