kennywood!007 Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 So I finally got No Limits yesterday, and I'm proud to announce that I have got the hang of it! So I thought I would post my first coaster (took my 3 times to get this outcome) Timber! It's a Gravity Group model, with lots of twists and turns, and airtime hills! Hope you enjoy it! Tips/critisism will be greatly appriciated! -Zack "OMG I got NL and I can finally download people's coasters" Lloyd! Steffen_Dk Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 It's quite impressing to think about this is your first coaster. I like your lift hill (I still suck making them ), and the rest of the coaster was okay until the last twist and turns. Especially the last hill before the station was a bit bumpy and not-smooth. But still - amazing first coaster!
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Very nice attempt at a first coaster! My first coaster sucked! (I didn't upload it here because I actually never finished it!) But just in case you may want to refer to this post. But still very good for a first coaster! But I want to tell you about 2 things that that post doesn't mention, Tunnel Test, and wheel hit test. Tunnel Test: Go to edit, "select all", press G, and check off tunnel. now the entire track is encased in a tunnel, ride it in the sim, and if anything (treese, track supports ect) move it! Wether it be the track support or scenery, move it out of the way! Wheel hit test, if a train (especially a wooden PTC train) banks too quickly in the sim a wheel will pop up and out through the floor on the sides of the train, if this happens on a transition, fix it!
thefitness Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Great job for your first coaster! When you practice a little more, you could probaly fix some of those rough spots and it would turn out pretty good.
kennywood!007 Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 Thanks guys! I should have a second coaster done by today or tomarrow. I'm give a GCI a shot. May not turn out to good. hehe.
phazan Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I agree with the others, this was an awesome first coaster Zack! If you were experienced, it would be an ok coasters, but being that it's your first, it;s pretty impressive!
