bulldog5466 Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Hey rob my dad and I are going to bush gardens europe this summer and I just wanted to know which order we should ride the roller coasters there.
TatsuTerror Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Griffon, to Alpengeist (relatively close), to Apollo's Chariot, to Big Bad Wolf and Nessie.
BarryH Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Although DarKastle isn't a coaster, if you want to ride it, do it early. I rode it twice in the morning with a 15 minute wait. Later in the day, the wait was over an hour. I don't know why, but they send single riders to the ultra-wide center lane for some reason.
shepp Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 When I went, all the coasters weren't open first thing - they opened the sections on a staggered schedule. So before you going sprinting all over the park, you might find out what starts running when.
carolinacaniac Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 If I remember correctly, The front sections (Scotland, England and Italy) are open when the park opens, then at 11, the rest open up. I could be wrong about that, but if it is the case you could go to Loch Ness, then Apollo's Chariot, then Big Bad Wolf, then Alpengiest, then Griffon.
HogarthOK Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 As a followup, guys, we're planning a trip in late September or early October. Is one day enough to do the entire park? Judging from the map and the number of coasters, my intuition is just barely. H
cfc Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 ^That's also when they have Howl-o-Scream (which starts in mid-September). Unlike HOS at Tampa, Euroburg's event is just part of your admission or season pass.
coasterfreak101 Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Griffon Alpengeist -France to Germany Skyride- DarKastle (if you want to) Big Bad Wolf Apollo's Chariot Loch Ness Monster When I went on May 25th for Griffon, everything opened together with the park. They were actually letting people in 15 minutes early...do they do that every day?
alpengeist04 Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 They were actually letting people in 15 minutes early...do they do that every day? They usually do that when a new big attraction opens. They did the same thing two years ago when DarKastle opened, but didn't actually open the ride till 10. ...but at least you were already in line waiting.
Zenny Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I've never gone wrong with going counter-clockwise, starting at Nessie...great points for cool-offs at the Log Flume, then Roman Rapids, then Pompeii throughout the day...plus, you'll end up at the Festhaus at the perfect time, with half the rides done and the other half ahead of you, hungry and ready to scarf down a black forest cake!
