My DT Project

On DT at the moment we have to design our own ride and then make it! We have to come up with 6 designs for my homework and At the moment I can only think of 3.

 

At the moment I have:

 

A Dive Bomber drop tower ride, where there is a gear at the top attached to the tower, and then a small motor in the middle of the gear. There is a weicht at the bottom of the price of string then the car is hooked to the ent of it. The weight is at the top of the tower. The engine is turned on and the weight gets filled with water which in effect majes it heavyer and therefore the ride springs up, working exactly like an s&s shot and drop.

 

Then I have a super move it like move it except for the car is attached to an arm wich spins and flims riders upside down as it rotates.

 

The we have the double dive bomber, which it just like a shot and drop.

 

Can you think of any more? You can only use pullies, levers and other mechanisms you would expect to find in a dt classroom. And also suggest a theme. You can only choose:

 

Chinese

War (Any Period)

Jungle

Space

I can't remember how I done it, but I managed to make a rip curl like ride a few years back. It got destroyed when we moved house though...
