Guest Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 This is my first Photo TR so I figured I would share some pics I took at media day at Kennywood. Hope this turns out right!! They debuted Cosmic Chaos a Disko (Zamperla) with a Mega Disko track. It was very different and very cool. Lots of spinning! SS Kenny is a Rockin Tug from Zamperla that is much milder then Cosmic Chaos and parents can ride too! Ok, onto the pics! Damn it, I did it wrong. Scroll from the bottom and work your way up folks! Cosmic Chaos signage. Here is the track. It has lights to be lit up when it gets dark. More themeing. The ride had totally creepy music to it as well. Here is the disc. Alien themeing... The Alien bit me I swear! Zack and Dave get attacked by the Alien! The SS Kenny Kenny rules all. He has that diva-like wave at the camera! Kenny says "Yo this is my ride...dogs!" New for 2007 K Tube. The newest TV system for Kennywood. There are 12 throughout the park. They are 47 inches. Sweet! Local news personality Sheldom Ingram whores it up on the SS Kenny. He was too afraid for Cosmic Chaos King Kahuna got a new paint job. Ride still sucks though. See Arrow/Morgan goodness with a twist of Intamin drop tower goodness. Isn't that a kick ass drop? Phantom's Revenge gets a big thumgs up! Dave (CoasterExpert13) does his impression of a jump shot. He shoots and MISSES! Zack (kennywood!007) tries to shoot some hoops. Didn't go over well. Isn't Pittfall gorgeous with the new paint job? Thunderbolt is ready to operate. Woot! Musik Express got a rehab, isn't it pretty? This is for Will Holder. Arrrrrr! Capt. Skully forever! bulldogmom Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Great pics! CC looks really cool- I'm surprised how much theming they put into it. Looks like it will be a fun ride. Musik Express looks like something out of a bad acid trip (not that I would know what that looks like, of course). I never cared much for the Flying Carpet, so I'm not sad to see it go.
carolinacaniac Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Those look like great additions to Kennywood. I would love to go back too, haven't beenfor about two years. I definatly need some patato patch fries!!!! I like the theming they have for cosmic chaos. Great Pictures!
