For those of us NL designers out there, who still does hand made coasters from scratch and use very little or no tools at all? How many actually have the patience of learning those confusing formulas in Elementary for a more 'precise' design? Personally, although using complex formulas are a lot of work, I prefer doing everything by hand for the following reasons: I feel that there's more effort involved in handbuilding it and I happen to suck at math as I'm just finishing beginner algebra. So, what method do you guys use?

I have to make them by hand still. Seeing as how they don't make any tools for macs. Seems a bit unfair on Coastersims having all those tools for PC built coasters then having no tools for the mac built coasters. Seeing as how on Coastersims all the tracks get rated and awarded medals if the coasters are well built :?

Well that's what you get when you're on a mac. You should consider yourself lucky for even getting the game.

I prefer formula built tracks, simply because a good formula track is bether than a good hand built. But you can find bad formula tracks too. I wouldn't say one way is easier than the other. Both are challenging in their own way.
