verticalzero Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I attended the local "Wheels day" today which is set in some army arena about 15 mins drive away. With around 2000+ vehicles on show of every type you could wish to see, ranging from Street Rods, Custom Cars, Yanks, Bikes, Vans, British Classics, Historic Vehicles and Dragsters. Beautiful sunshine and temps of 22c, I was part of the UK Cruiser Club, we met at 9am (local tesco car park) and 26 different cruisers all entered the show grounds, it made a great sight. Enjoy the pic's and see how many make's of cars you can name
thrillrideseeker Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 WOW! Great pictures! What was the deal with like a million P.T. Cruisers? I hope you had fun! ~Matthew
BeemerBoy Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Two words: General Lee! Git-R-Dun Seriously though, great pics. I'm somewhat of a car guy too (part time professional detailer), so this definitely caught my eye. And, as mentioned above, I'm surprised by the PT Cruiser fetish you guys have over there. They look good though. It's also somewhat odd to see so many classic American autos in the show. Was that white one a '33 Ford by chance? And that Merc with the ghost flames should've been chopped! It would've looked so much meaner that way. Anyway, looked like fun. Glad you enjoyed it.
