msep003 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 with a friend of mine we're going to Denmark at the end of May and i have a few questions . we're going from a friday to a Monday night . what do you recomend for us . Friday : Tivoli Gardens Saturday : Bakken or Bon Bon Land Sunday : Farup Monday : Bakken or Bon Bon Land Does the Kiddies Coasters are only for kids like some parks in the US or Adults can ride it . thank you in advance
StyleStorm Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Well, lets say you arrive at CPH Friday: Tivoli Gardens, we all know that park, it's awesome, and it is a must if you're in Denmark. Have a B&M Floorless. Saturday: Legoland Billund, one of the best themed parks in Denmark. Getting a new SeaLife aquarium for 2007, has alot of rides that other Legoland parks don't have seing as this is the leading park. Sunday: Fårup Sommerland or Djurs Sommerland, depending of how much you will drive. Djurs Sommerland is a great park, having a Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster, Huss Topple Tower, much more, great theming and the biggest outdoor waterpark in Denmark. Fårup, an S&S Wooden coaster, big outdoor park, nice atmosphere and so on Monday: Bonbon Land, seing as i assume you are leaving from CPH. Great park, just look at the trip reports on this site. Haves a Gerstlauer Eurofighter, and new for 2007 is a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster. On the map, it shows where the parks are. Hope it help, Style.
Nosferatu Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 You can do both Bakken and Tivoli in the same day. Start at Bakken, and spend the evening in Tivoli. That place is magical in the evening. If you do BonBon, Tivoli and Bakken in tow days, you can do either Fårup, Djurs or legoland the last two days. LiseBerg isn't too far away either...
msep003 Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 thanks for you quick answer . i think we'll do that but we'll arrive in Copenaghen around 9ish and leaving the monday at 8pm . we don't drive . Is it possible to get to Farup for one day by train from copenaghen ?
StyleStorm Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 There is direct trains from Copenhagen H to Aalborg (check map), and from Aalborg you will need to take a bus to Fårup Sommerland with the number 200 or 200E This site will be helpfull.
