verticalzero Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Oldest touring roller coaster. Dates back to around 1920. It was found in a field in Holland. The side friction Runaway Coaster formerly of Rotunda ParkRunaway Coaster is still rotting in Folkestone as of today. 3 cars still on the tracks in a very bad state. Such a shame as it had been overhauled when built. As it was when running: http://rcdb.com/ig862.htm Yesterday: http://photos.orange.co.uk/album/5033948 This coaster may go to "Oakwood" Theme Park
IceDragon Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 does it still work? is it safe? (not seen images yet) if so, wanna go ride it? rcdb picture 8 looks like its full of airtime!!! the other website makes it look un-rideable. if you push it around the first time, you can see if it breaks or not, then ride it
verticalzero Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Click on the links and you will see it is no state to run, SBNO since 2003
BorisTF Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Yay, blends in with the rest of Folkestone now...
Shockwave Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 According to Duane, it's going to a small park in Cornwall. http://www.rcdb.com/id3684.htm Don't know how true that is.
