Token Yankee Guy Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Hey Robb and Elissa, I got a question... If your forums/website popularity continues to increase would you guys consider forming a enthusiast group like ACE? Or consider the membership of the forums like an unoffical enthusiast group.
SharkTums Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I think we are kind of intrigued by the popularity of the forum...that is one of the reasons we're doing the party in June. That is also why we put out the questionnaire about trips. It seems like the best part of 'coaster clubs' are the get togethers, trips, and communication between members. That's really what we're focusing on right now. With the responses we've gotten about the trip it's looking more and more like it will happen. Eventually I can see us doing more and more group events! Elissa "does that answer your question?" Alvey
Token Yankee Guy Posted May 6, 2005 Author Posted May 6, 2005 ^ Yeah a little bit, my general question is if TPR will have it's own offical membership sort of like what ACE does. But either way is cool, I do enjoy being a member here on the forums and it doesn't cost anything and I can't wait for group meets and such.
stew560 Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 That would be cool to become a "recognized" club so that the membership could possibly honored at events like Dorney's Coaster Madness coming up. All it would really take would be printing up some nice TPR cards and giving us member numbers!
SharkTums Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 It's definitely something we'll look into...but I don't think we're ready to do cards and stuff yet! Maybe do something more like Screamscape and Westcoaster do where they arrange for a pass you can print out that will get you into most events! Elissa "I call member #69! " Alvey
