vjgx Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Warning: Uses NL 1.6 (Improved Friction)!! The following ride is meant to be rough. :: Diamond Beach Typhoon by vjgx :: Height: 114 ft Speed: 55 mph Length: 2747 ft ----------------------------------------------- This is the infamous Diamond Beach Typhoon, heavily inspired by such wooden monsters as the Crystal Beach Cyclone. Known for its ejector airtime, whiplash-inducing laterals, headchoppers, and general insanity, this ride is not for the weak-hearted. Riders must be in excellent physical condition. Otherwise, enjoy your ride on the Diamond Beach Typhoon! Update: Added more pictures! Diamond Beach Typhoon.nltrack The Diamond Beach Typhoon (NL) by vjgx
Calaway Park Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 *I RODE THIS COASTER IN VERSION 1.55 AND MY RATINGS MAY BE AFFECTED* The ride is fun, fast, and I never experienced any of these whiplashing laterals you speak of.
music11 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 From that first picture that drop looks awesome and very realistic. Do you think you can post some more pictures up for the people that dont have NL?
Blazen_AZN Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Known for its ejector airtime... There were a total of two places on that ride that even went into negative gs. And neither got anywhere close to ejector, IMO. But im just knocking your word, because the ride was nice. But some good old fashoined straight hills would have been nice too. Also, meh, i don't like the drop, it doesn't provide any negative forces and suprisingly little lateral.
the sound Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Woah, that droop dosen't loooook right man. Its like its oon, drugsssss or somethin, man. *Spelling Mistakes done on Purpose to imitate a guy on drugs* I don't have NL, but i could assure you that i would download it, no-matter how 'Goofed up' the first drop looks. Could you possibly post some more pictures for those of us without NL?

I kinda made that description up. I was trying to make it sound dangerous and crazy, just like some of the older Traver woodies.
