Erik Johnson Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 It has been a couple of months since my last Photo TR, so I decided to post a few pictures from yet another trip to Walt Disney World. As many of you know, the Wonders of Life pavillion has opened up again for the month of Dec. We all thought that last year was going to be the final year that this pavillion was going to have any kind of "seasonal operation." We were wrong, so we were able to go hang out and take our time to "document" the pavillion before it actually closes for good. Yeah I took a lot of video, but this posting is simply going to be our photographs, so enjoy! There is a cool hidden Mickey located here. She wanted to show us around her old work place. Hey, we ran into Julie today. Goofy still looks happy though. More old and closed stuff. There were certainly a lot of people in here today. You know an attraction is dated when they feature Hanz and Franz. We have never done this before. No shows for us today. All of the shops and places of eating were closed. Leanne is now Queen of the Giants. Carlos has a difficult time reaching for the door knob. Once he is upright, watch out!! He does not look too upset upsidedown. This was kinda freaky. While not a popular as Mickey or Goofy, Spermy has his own following. Yes, this was open today. Oh yeah, Sex education....Disney Style. No caption necessary. While all the major attractions were open, some of the smaller ones remained closed. Kidcot, WOL style. It has been at least two years since I been in the Wonders of Life. Yeah, I did my homework assignments Robb. We ended up ejecting into space the Ohio State fan that rode with us. Less intense Gary proved to be very popular today. Carlos joined us for some more intense Mission: Sinise. They have the entire front area decked out with Christmas stuff. Yet another event filled holiday at Epcot. This is one of the reasons for our WDW visit today. Yeah, we love TPR.
Erik Johnson Posted December 10, 2006 Author Posted December 10, 2006 Yeah, more stuff. This Photo: TR finishes out with a huge Christmas tree. Back over to Epcot was more Christmas lights. Stacey was out making park guests as happy as possible. You sure we are not at Universal: Hollywood? This looked more "Halloweenish". Awwww.....At least there is one "classy" picture in this Photo: TR. Lucky for us, we had a guide. Once the lights came one, it became impossible to move in this area. Nice and pretty. I hope Leanne does not crash. Yeah, they had some Christmas decorations up at MGM. We had our favorite drop sequence today. Like I said, "...and tower". Yeah, we are here for some lights.....and tower. Wow! The tree is taller than Tower. We then took a bus over to Disney/MGM. Probably never to return. Heading out of the WOL. Julie's old post. Warning sign! Boy, they must be really hurting for attendence for allowing a dog to ride. They only accept 20 cent Knoebels tickets if you want to ride.
coastrfreak2000 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Ah I love WDW. I went during the Christmas season two years ago and it was really beautiful. This really brings back memories.
pianojohn Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Thanks for the photos Erik! My mom is visiting me this week, so we are doing the Disney stuff for her first time! Did La Nouba and PI last night, Hoop Dee Doo tonight, Busch Gardens tomorrow, EPCOT Wednesday for Candlelight, and MK on Thursday night for Mickey's Very Merry! On a side note, I will be playing piano at Busch Gardens for their new show Mirage Canteen on this Saturday December 16th as well as December 24th! I don't usually perform there, but I music directed the show. It is really good if you ask me. Anyway, Happy Holidays to all!
Chrissie Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I didn't even know that part of Epcot exsisted! Ha!! lol Nice TR, Its lovely to see WDW all Christmassy! Makes me wish I was there!
