Ccron10 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Since I have some time on my hands I think I'll put up some of my TR's. First up is Hersheypark's Christmas Candylane. Although it was in December 2005, I didn't post it until now. Herheypark during the off-season coming soon! More Storm Runner! I tried to get a good shot of the train. I wish I could ride that now. Look! Cloaking devices! They've finally came to Hershey! then it was. Can you say extreme air time!?! Somehow the Kissing Tower was running faster than usuall because first it wasn't there... Storm Runner in the snow! I wish I had one for my living room! Apperently this train was used from the 70's to 1995. As you can see I look very thrilled. Wildcat in the Snow!
Ccron10 Posted November 13, 2006 Author Posted November 13, 2006 In March I went with my dad to a woodworking show in Harrisburg and we went past the park. More off-season pics coming tomorrow! I love this shot. It's the famous Chocolate Factory. Storm Runner, Great Bear and SDL all in one shot while going 40mph down Chocolate Ave. ! Must be great to live in a town to see a coaster right from your house. Is that what I think I see? Yes! It is! Gondolas already on the Ferris Wheel! To bad the park wasn't open.
YoshiFan Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Sitting in that Comet car in the Hershey Museum was the most fun part of the museum for me. Christmas Candylane would be so much better if they had a coaster or two open.
deano Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Interesting pics, i love shots of parks from the road. Can someone please clarify what Christmas Candylane is for me? Is it a tour of the park, yet the parks closed and why would they put up all those Christmas decorations if the parks closed?
Ccron10 Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Christmas Candylane is a winter event where you can enter park (for a fee this year) and you can ride some rides like the claw, skyview, wave swinger etc. No roller coasters are open. But they also have shows and lighting displays. It can be fun to get some pics of the park in the snow. I recomend seeing it if you live under 2 hours away.
Ccron10 Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 BUMP! I think it's time to put up some more of my theme park pics. These next three are of Knoebels on the day before the hottest day of summer, Dorney Park on August 15th, and Hersheypark's X-mas Candylane. First Knoebels. Skyride facts. I'm suprised they didn't cover the station yet. This view makes skyride enthusiests jump for joy. Knoebels at it's finest. Yo. The coal regins from the Skyride. The person you see is me hoping that my dad doesn't drop my camera. At least the Pioneer train is cleaner than Smokey. The greatest woodie, the Phoenix! Hello. My first ever Paratrooper credit. Do I see a credit? There's Thrill Coaster from Ole' Smokey, the dirtiest train in the world! Flying Turns construction in progress. How comes on a log flume, you feel like your stomach goes into your mouth and not on a coaster? I don't know if you can see me, but I'm on that boat.
Ccron10 Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Dorney Park. This was one of my earlier avatars. A blurry night time pic of Talon. Talon credit! Thunderhawk and Steel Force at dusk. My first ever Steel Force credit! It's a nice day at dorney and this is the first time I've been here for over 10 years.
Ccron10 Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Last, X-Mas Candylane. Comments are welcome. -Chris A dark pic of Xtreme Cup Challenge. Look! They even added a plaque! Looks like the old pool lighthouse is sporting a new coat of paint for the park's 100th anniversery.
bulldogmom Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Thanks- nice pics. It's always fun to see coasters and snow together. Those are some good ones of Knoebel's from the Sky Ride- I love long sky rides like that. Flying Turns looks great.
Ccron10 Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 After uploading some pics for a friend of mine, I added some more photos. They are on this album on photobucket and there are 70 photos and 1 movie clip. Enjoy. http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u63/Ccron10/
