Three Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Just when I think I've heard of all of Disney's defunct projects, I stumble upon another. The original MK Parking underground? The origins of the Country Bears? Fascinating stuff. How come I haven't heard of this? Does anybody have more information?
Airtime&Gravity Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I have a book on Disney(I think it's from around 97). It has all sorts of information on Disney projects like the Ski Resort. It wasn't built because of legal trouble, but it looked really nice. Disney also wanted to build DisneySea in Long Beach, an entertainment area in Burbank, and the Great American Adventure in WDW.
disneyfan1313 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Yep! It was one of the last projects that Walt fully worked on and it would have been pretty darn cool if it ever had been built. I think we see some of the spirit of it live on in the "Adventures By Disney" concept to a lesser extent. I have a feeling it would still be going and popular today if it had happened.
