mikejenkins1 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 With the rapid rise of parks in China, I would imagine someone out there is taking photos and videos of these new parks/rides. I would love to know if there is anyone out there that has been to some of the new parks in China and taken any video (on/off-ride) that we could see.
SharkTums Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I would use the search feature on the site as we've had a few posts about some of the cool new (and old) Chinese parks. I know we have at least one member heading over soon and some of us TPR peeps are planning a small 'reconnaissance trip' next year to prepare for a TPR Group trip!
mr_teisco_delrey Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Just be carefull. A few weeks ago, I was listening to a report about counterfitting in China on NPR's "Marketplace". Believe it or not their are counterfit rides, including roller coaster parts. Of course the first thing I thought was that I could get a cheap B&M knockoff for my field.
Calvin Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Of course, it would be a "D&N" coaster, and made from stolen Giovanola "Goliath" track molds with park benches attached to skateboard wheels for trains.
