TPDave Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Looking at your UK trip, i *think* i picked up on the fact that there was quite a bit of ERT at most of the parks! Some UK fanboys are thinking about getting a group together and going to some parks around the UK that we don't do on a daily basis. These would include Blackpool and Oakwood. I was wondering how much did ERT cost you when you went? Did you have to have a certain amount of people? How accomodating (sp?) were the parks to a bunch of enthusiasts? cheers Dave
SharkTums Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 It depends on how much ERT you want, what rides, what time of year, how many people, if you'll be staying at their partner hotel, if you'll be doing group meals, what you offer the park, etc. As you can see there's a lot that goes into it, and I'm sorry, but there's no simple answer.
What Now Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 You ever think of joining ECC or RCCGB? Both clubs have events with ERS at UK parks throughout the year.
robbalvey Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 It really depends on what you are offering the parks. For example, at Blackpool, we stayed 3 nights at their on property hotel, had two organized meals at their restaurants and we rented out a good porition of the park for 2+ hours one of the mornings. It's impossible to give an exact price, because like Elissa said the parks will fit the event to your needs, but as an example, you can rent out an "Island" at Universal's Islands of Adventure for about $30,000 for a night. Those are the kind of numbers you're looking at. It's NOT cheap! --Robb
