thomas2 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Hi Alveys I saw that on your Europe trip 2005, you did Heide Park on day 10 and Movie Park Germany on day 11. I am planning to do these parks also, but the distance between the 2 parks seems very long (+300 km I think). You guys also drove with a car right? Well how did you cross that distance between Movie Park Germany and Heide Park? Did you stayed at a hotel somewhere between the 2 parks or did you just drove all the way to Movie Park after your Heide Park visit? Thanks!
Twister II Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Ever seen Star Trek? "Beam me up Scotty!" That's how.
thomas2 Posted August 8, 2006 Author Posted August 8, 2006 ^nope never saw it so it doesn't apply to me But seriously how did you cross those big distances within Europe. Isn't it hard to drive 5 hours after a full day at a park?
SharkTums Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 It's not hard at all, and I don't remember it being nearly that far. We always do our drives at night and stay right near the park we're visiting the next day. Some people are good with long drives, some aren't! Our longest drive one day drive on the Europe Trip was from Europa Park to Gardaland, after our day at Gardaland. It would have been about 2 hours shorter but we hit bad traffic in Switzerland. One drive that we did have to break up into two days was going from SFH to Farup Sommerland. We went to the denmark/german border after SFH, then the rest of the way the next morning, and made it to farup right after opening!
