coasterdude5 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 How do you manipulate images so they can fit onto the site?
CoasterFanatic Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Tell them they are fat and watch as they starve themselves down to 600 pixels wide. But seriously, try downloading Picasa 2. It is a handy little image management tool that can do such tasks and it's FREE! http://www.picasa.com/
Scaparri Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Depends. If you save your pictures as jpg images or something, load the image in paint. Then you can click "image" and then "stretch and skew" and resize it to smaller dimensions (make sure the two numbers are the same otherwise the pic will be distorted). After that, save it and click on the file in your folder to see how big the new image is. It sounds complicated but its not. I'm no computer wiz though so this might sound dumb or crazy. If you want to do it more professionally so that the image is exactly 800x600, you'll probably need to have some sort of photo program.
Movieguy Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Well, I just scanned a pic I want to use, I downloaded Picassa, and the thing can't seem to detect the file for some reason. What do I need to do?
Jose Eber Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Well, I just scanned a pic I want to use, I downloaded Picassa, and the thing can't seem to detect the file for some reason. What do I need to do? Buy a Mac Mini and use iPhoto? (I have zip knowledge of tech -- iphoto gives various options to get your image the right size). My proselytizing has now finished.
