I wanted to share some photos of a local fair that was dirty, dusty, smelly and starred Peter Frampton in concert! (http://www.summerfestbrea.org/). Just 10 photos. My favorite is the beer kegs piled up in the catholic school playground. - Jules Next report: the OC Fair! Frampton was alive. Just barely. Lots of white hair and bald heads in this crowd. Frampton is the glowing pink guy on stage. Merchandise booth for the star performer: Peter Frampton. "Do You Feel Like We Do?" The sign should include guns, knives and other weapons. Yo, the lonely rap ride, waiting for victims. Yum, fair snax The condition of the ticket booth gives you a lot of confidence about the safety of the rides Soarin Over Garbage! The only coaster at Summerfest: a kiddie Dragon coaster. So this is a fair benefitting a Catholic School...with LOTS OF BEER!

By the way, who the heck would order a Cup-O'-Noodles Instant Lunch??? Bring on the Deep Fried Goodies! That's one of the great things about the Orange County Fair (Currently Open), they deep fry everything from Twinkies to Snickers. For the vegetable crowd, they deep fry Avocados, Olives, and Asparagus.
flyingspin Posted July 17, 2006 Author Posted July 17, 2006 Yeah, this was a classy event. The savvy Catholic school event organizers had much beer available, which brought in lots of money for the school (or to pay for Peter Frampton!).
