This! When I attend haunt, its usually at the end of Sept. while the crowds are light. Even then, I get to ride Xcelerator 4-6 times in a row without getting off. Its probably the best time to go ride! I cant get enough of that back seat airtime over the top hat

How can you make a comparison like that without having ridden the coaster in said comparison?

Hey, it's just a thought, calm down. And its just a message board, get a sense of humor.

Of course it would stay open for Game. They've sold package deals, like a season ticket, that gets you free beer and food. Its just as much as a season ticket, so they're making a killing. They also use the same facility for its corporate and private parties. My company is holding our summer picnic at Great America and we are using that facility. I'll post some pictures from the event.

While drunkenly looking through my Facebook feed, I noticed CGA posted about riding Gold Striker tomorrow along with the park hours. I take it they got the part and it's now up and running. If so, (and not just a PR mistake) color me stoked.

There have been tons of ideas like this mentioned in this thread. I think the realistic outcome would be a racing RMC overlay with new elements added, or possibly the two tracks combined for a long RMC ride!

Another possibility is that they're waiting on a part to be manufactured and/or shipped. Im hoping this is the case since no one has reported seeing any test runs being done since its been down. If it is a computer issue, lets hope its software based and can be flashed or patched. .
