  2. I want a dive machine with moving seats! Either it tilts so your feet are dangling straight down or it tilts you head first. That'd be so cool!
  3. I'm gonna call Disney and ask to talk to Mickey.
  4. And do you think they purposely let their child die? I think it's pretty much expected to recieve money if there's a casualty. On a side note Florida has bad luck with centrifuges. A girl died on a centrifuge ride a while ago at the Miami Dade Fair.
  5. The only way it will have a standing chance is if the dialog is somewhat like cast members on rides such as The Great Movie Ride or Jungle Cruise, but less cornier.
  6. lemme just say this X:\ C:\ Drive names.
  7. The problem is...what properties do you make rides from? I agree with Stuart! What's left? Keep in mind that a major component of the original Disneyland concept was to be an extension of the film properties. While I know there are still some good Disney ones out there, even Aladdin, Lion King, and Little Mermaid are now at least a generation old. In the late 80s and early 90s Disney was making rides based on Lucas properties because that's what was hot and consumers identified with, and people were worried that the parks would turn into "Lucasland" Remember, within 10 years we had Captain EO in 3 parks, Star Tours in 4 parks, Indy Stunt Show, Indy Dark Ride, Indy Roller Coaster, etc, etc..... All Lucas. Then in 1995 Toy Story comes out, and then is followed up by a long streak of Pixar hits. So it would seem the shift went from Lucas to Pixar. (besides they pretty much ran out of Lucas movies anyway!) When was the last Disney movie that wasn't a Pixar release that as actually was a hit? Lilo & Stitch? Well, they did a ride based on that! Before Stitch? Um....Tarzan? Lion King? It goes a ways back. And to go back to the "classics", well, as much as I'd like to see that happen to, Splash Mountain was a testament that people just don't know some of the classics. Granted, Song of the South hasn't been re-released in a VERY long time, but still....how many of the recognizable classics are left to make a ride out of? Dalmations? Rescuers? Hmmm.... I agree the Pixar madness is a bit much, but at least they are now making rides out of properties that were released by Disney. --Robb "Could be worse....Brave Little Toaster: The Ride!" Alvey How 'bout a "That's So Raven" ride?
  8. HAHA I can see the corny commercials already.
  9. Let me start off by saying this. I'm not to fond of shows and the like. I've been to Epcot 4 times and have never seen Fantasia (let alone anything outside of future world). So maybe my thoughts will be a bit biased. I don't see how this "club" will be successful. No cover, no 2 drink minimum, and worst of all NO PROFANITY! How can a comedy club be successful without dirty jokes. Okay I'm half kidding about this because jokes don't have to be dirty to be funny. But this attraction will get stale fast. It's one of those "see it once" attractions. I might actually go since it's new. I feel bad because when I was a kid disney seemed so awesome but looking at it know there's only a few rides that make my stomach tingle. Well I kinda got off topic. I'm not saying Disney's bad or anything but I just need a way to pass my 4 hours in between class and typing does the trick.
  10. Hmm. I think the biggest problem would be conflicting storylines. They can't really use Trex because he's messing up the place in river adventure. But I guess raptors can chase the jeeps. It's be cool if the jeep ride were indoor/outdoor. Like you'd load up in front of the conservatory like in the movie then you would enter a tunnel disguised as thick bushes. For the helicopter all I can think of is a simulator or for a hefty sum you can fly from the entrance of the park to a helipad on top of river adventure
  11. Who's going? Before I said I was going to Night of Joy but my youth pastor said they sold out so we switched. I'm gonna make a trip video (no on ride video of course). It should be fun. I hope for this to be the trip that I ride The Hulk, DD, and The Mummy. I might be wrong but didn't they close BTtF? If so R.I.P. two of the best US rides (King Kong being the other).
  12. Who's going? This is the second Disney event I've been to this year (first being Grad Nite). It's gonna be fun. I'll most likey skip the bands like last time since lines are short. It's $45 but I have to pay $175 (bus and hotel). I attend Christ Fellowship Church of Miami.
  13. Okay so I was looking at some Phantasialand pictures and came across some Colorado Adventure pictures. Now at first my mind was on the fact it was a BTMR rip off but when I saw this one I was a little wierded out. I wouldn't suggest your children riding this (especially if theyre white boys under 13). No but seriously Michael is cool. I saw his Captain EO movie on Youtube the other day and am sad it was removed.
  14. Has Theme Park Review done any ride videos for any of those channels?
