I just love those trains and would love to get them but sadly we wont. Those trains would make the coaster that much better. Then again any train without the OTSR would be nice.

Maybe not horroible but the same its been for years now. All track from the station up to the turnarounds has not been rebuilt. The 2nd half of the ride has the rebuild turnarounds but only 2 of the like 4-5 bunny hops have been rebuilt. The first half of the ride has not changed and the 2nd half of the coatster about 30% of it has been rebuilt. Just saying i'm now hearing people say TR is fun again and how amazing it is now but with 70% of the track not yet rebuit i just can't believe that. Thunder Road is one of my favorites at the park and i would love to see the entire thing rebuilt which just might happen in the off-season.

Honestly i hope they rebuild the entire coaster in this off-season. Right now its just the turnarounds and 2-3 small sections of the coaster which is not all that great. You can tell when you go over the new sections but its only like 30% of the entire ride thats good. The remaining 70% of the coaster is the same its been the last 10 years. I'll wait to see if its any good in 2009.

I have been to Carowinds atleast 1,000 times if not more. I have also been to WDW a few hundred times.

Top Spins are by far my favorite flat ride and i would go crazy if Carowinds finally got one. County Fair could be extended to make room for one and more attractions. There is all that space beside Country Kitchen just begging to put something there.

Something tells me there are a few million others that don't know who owns Nick Universe. Who cares? If it makes you happy i'll look into who owns what from now on. > a few hours later.. Oops... yep.... Not to mention the park will advertise it as the tallest coaster in the park which the GP will eat up. I could however see some people upset when they go back and FSS is gone.

On another note let's all just forget about the rumor going around that Cedar Fair is dumping Nickelodeon. just think of the money they would have to spend re-themeing everything at all para-parks not to mention the millions in sales they would loose yearly. Oh..... Of course the fact that they just completely re-themed camp Snoopy into Nickelodeon Universe. Now why would they do that if they were planning on dumping Nick in the next year or two. Now i could see universal dumping Nick since that contract is up either this year or next & people don't really go to Universal for Nick. Not with the Nick Hotel down the road but thats a different topic.

Nope didn't get fired but if you want to keep telling yourself that then i'm fine with that and no i never plan to work for carowinds again cause i would have to deal with people like you not to mention the dumb people running the departments at Carowinds. I'm perfectly happy where i am now!

I would love to have a picture of that kid. i think parks should plaster his face all over the fencing of every coaster with a warning. Don't be like this dumba$$.

I'm just happy CF is giving carowinds something. They could easily just close the park or give us nothing at all so any coaster is a good move for a park with not alot to do. This is also a way of getting a free coaster to save more money for the big one in 2010. If you don't like what the park is doing then by all means don't go. Sad thing is as much as everyone complains i'd be willing to put money on everyone being at the park at some point next year and riding Head Spin. You know it's true. Carowinds should not be worried about the competition. It has not effected the park the last 10 years or ever imo and will not effect the park 10 years down then road. Even with HRP, KD & SFoG Carowinds seems to do a good job breaking attendance records every year by adding kiddie rides and water park expansions so why change a good thing. And to all those ungreatfull people over at CC crying and fussing about the coaster just get over it. please go visit another park that will fulfill your needs. Shorter lines for me when i go next year. Just saying if carowinds annoucnes a huge hyper in 2010 every single one of you will be back on the other side of the fence praising CF and saying what a wonderful job they are doing. Thankfully i don't run Carowinds cause if i did i would just put in small used coasters every year so the the babies won't buy a SP. I think that pretty much covers it.

Nighthawk would loke awesome with black track & purple supports or the other way around. i can't wait to see what colors they come up with for Head Spin.

Carowinds hyper could also have a splash down as well but thats getting way ahead. It would be nice if CF threw in a flat or two along with Head Spin which they still could.

Head Spin is 116.6 ft which will be the tallest by 1.6ft I really think plans for the hyper were for 2010. If carowinds were getting a hyper in 09 construction would have started around the same time as KI i would think so i'd expect to see Hyper construction about june/july in 09 for the hyper. That is if we get a hyper. As far as the rumore about getting rid of Nickeloedon then i hope it stays a rumor. Cedar fair would be retarted to take out Nick not to mention they would loose millions in the process.

I'm happy it's finally comfirmed now so we can talk about it. I love the addition of the Boomerang but not that happy about FSS leaving. I love boomerangs so it's a very nice addition for me new or used.
