The park is rather empty around 9:30pm anyways. I have to think there are more customers at the park in the morning. I think if they had to choose to cut back on hours, it made more sense to cut the night hours out

Maybe its a staffing issue.

There is a fast pass, it costs about $40 a person. Even the best rides in the park usually only have 20-30 minute waits. I don't think you will need a fast pass, but wait till you get to the park and see what the crowds look like before purchasing.

That's my point, If the line was to the sign, that would be the only reason I could think of, to justify having a 3 train operation. I am not sure how much you think "That much more" is in your mind. But I actually would be upset if they threw 3 trains on this ride. There are so many other places the park could spend money on.

So are you just trying to say, that the current Viper operation crew can handle a 3 train operation? But you can clearly understand that the cost of setting that up, and maintaining it, is impossible to justify... But if this crew went back in time to 1982, you think they could pull it off?

Ive been to the park three times, and all three times, lines weren't long enough to even justify a 2nd train. Its not a priority of the park, and it sounds like alot of other six flags parks, don't care about two train operations either

It really is a good slogan. Whenever I plug in "Fun" in my GPS, it takes me to 9993 Alleghany Rd.

I just got off the phone with the Darien Lake DJ. He said he will decide how many decibels to play music at, based on how many pages of discussion we have on this board about it. I think were up to 5 pages, so only 40 more to go!

The worst thing about the website, is something that is six flags wide. Why is it not super easy to find the season pass portal log in? I cannot find it anywhere but in the email's I get....

It isnt a bad wait. For a new ride its worth it. Each cycle clears out about 2 lines of people in the queue. Its less then a half hour.

Saw this just outside the predator. Does anybody know what ride this was previously from?

Its probably likely those were just set up for the special ceremony they had for the opening earlier that day, right?

My problem with that, is that i think Rolling Thunder and similar rides to that, are rather ugly looking rides. The lighting package doesn't impress me like skyscreamer does!

Yeah that looks awesome! I can't remember the last time Darien Lake got a ride with a lighting package being something worth talking about. A lot of the recent rides are just basic spot lighting.

The Park has been open for 5 days..... Several rides aren't even ready for the season yet. The employees are still learning how to do their jobs. And somebody actually thinks they should have already celebrated a ride's Birthday....

How did the street lines on the 33 look?

Lol, geez. I mean you might see Toronto, or Niagara Falls, Ontario from the ride. If I don't see Manahattan from the ride, can i get my season pass money back?

So, i hadn't gone to Darien Lake on opening day in about 10 years. I guess i needed a reminder of why opening day isnt that great. Do all six flags parks close down their hyper coasters when its only lightly raining? Then it stopped raining, and they still hadn't reopened the ride yet, and it had been dry for almost an hour.

No, but its ok, all of the rides are in the same place they were last year!

Six flags never said the site would be done in April. People were asking why the website wasn't a six flags site yet, when it was still November. So we responded saying, lets maybe wait till at least April.
