Anyone at CP today see anything happen with Steel Vengeance? Rumor floating around the internet is that a "wheel" came off a train and it came to an abrupt stop?? I have zero evidence on the validity of this, just curious if anyone saw / heard anything who is there today!

Dominator at Kings Dominion. We wanted to jump on I305 and Twisted Timbers one more time before heading back towards CP, but rain had them both down, while Dominator kept going.

Well this sounds lovely. Troegs would be on the way back too so...uh...I may make my first ever Dorney visit this year!

So I always read about how Dorney has really small crowds and is never busy...is that still the case during their Halloween event? Instead of fighting the crowds at Cedar Point...i'm kinda thinking it might be a good time to hit up Dorney since I've never been there and have a Platinum Pass this year.

So we did actually see multiple people get caught with their phones in line on Steel Vengeance last week...but the thing that seemed weird to me was that they would let the person get right back in line where they were after they went and got rid of their phone. I don't see how that's much of a deterrent if you let them get right back where they were with their friends (and potentially being closer now after a ~10 minute locker excursion.) I thought the original plan was to make them get back in the end of the line. But whatever, there should be bins.

The bugs were absolutely insane for us this trip as well. We just got back yesterday. We've been going to CP during late July / early August for a 4 night stay for 4 years now, and this was by far the worst we've experienced. Made the mistake of hitting MF at night in the front (we've done it before with only a few splats here and there) and it was torture. Had to squint and keep mouth pressed tight, and had to change clothes back at Breakers. Even just walking through certain sections of the park we had to look out for swarms of those things.
