The best of the best

Or not... I don't think we should be putting anybody on any tiers. I mean, the previous RCT comps here got messed up part due to the whole "popularity" thing, so I think it's nice just to remain casual. Don't risk it or anything. -

I don't have those. All I would say is you could move the woodie toward the edge of the park more to open up that left side more. -

I'm not liking that woodie for some reason. The positions seems to close off that side of the park, and the layout itself seems very compartmentalized, and not as if it is one large design. The ways the helixes are so alone, and there aren't many crossovers in the supposedly twister layout? IDK, the track seems awkard and clumsy to me, as it is. -

^I beg to differ. You can do your track in NL exactly the same as SM. NL is simply more in-depth. -
RCT 1/2/3 Rants!
BiCoastal Kid replied to Luxo's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
RCT2 -I want my RCT1 hill tool!!! >.< -Boosters. -I wish you could put walls in the same square as shops/rides. It would make enclosing them that much easier. It would also look a lot better. Mostly, I wish people didnt have such a boner for custom scenery. I like seeing what I can do with base objects, and all people do is point out when I can't close up a whole or something cause it's on a slant? Hi. -
Your building remind me of Frank Gehry's Venice Beach house. http://www.horton.ednet.ns.ca/staff/syme/hago2004/Design11/Frank_Gehry/975854-S.jpg http://deathstar.rutgers.edu/people/dtulloch/pics/venice.jpg It's all random and juxtupositioned, except the oddities in your buildings don't really convey a feeling or a message or a general theme. Just my opinion.

Classic Disneyland! (RCT2)
BiCoastal Kid replied to Mr.Six's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I have no problem with your buildings and color. In a couple areas, I agree, if you made the paths wider it would look better, but the colors are fine. Some of the people complaining about it in her do the same exact thing, so I find it all very hypocritical. Anyway, my only comment is on your Splash. I just think the way it's positioned in the park is awkward and is going to make it seem like an after thought. -

I seriously think they're complainging about your show buildings...... -
Disney Futures Resort

I havent even started on the "Disney" part. The parts you see with the enclosed coaster is a factory theme, and I don't factories need balconies and pointless "detail" in the architecture. They're flippin factories. Also, I don't use custom scenery as a choice. I don't see why everybody has such a boner for custom object. Sure, they look nice, but I think RCT gives me enough to portray the ideas I have to a sufficient extent. I'd also like to know how my rides are unrealistic? -

See, I see nothing wrong with the architecture. They're realistic, effective, and I think they look good as well. -

Where do yous ee wall pieces sticking out? Or were you just saying in general? Also, I don't see how I can add more dtail without it looking cluttered, unrealistic, or unprofessional. The proportions don't support it. -

^I'm working with nothing but base RCT2 scenery. There's not much I can do without it looking retarded. -

^I hope you're talking about the powered coaster... cause you can see track pokin outta the other one. Anyway. Here are some pictures of the water coaster, which is themed to escaping from a diamond mine if you ahve to ask. Also, a hotel has been added. "The Missions." Slightly inspired architecture, mixed with some natural elements. It also features a small parking structure, haha. I know everybody is gonna complain about the proportions, but really, RCT's proportions are off in general so I figure mine can be a little odd. Still realistic, though. Pretty! Back view of the hotel... I added a few fences here and there, so this isnt exactly up-to-date. See? Even the station/queue blends in. Inside view? Yes please. Wooo, hidden in trees. -

After like, a month, I finally added a few rides. I forgot to take a couple pics of the water coaster, but Ill get those next time.... untill then, have some of the other progress. Inside view. All the paths are enclosed from the action. The ride itself goes through 4 rooms, and outside up to 4. Enclosed Rolly coaster. Launched, obviously. I like to think of this as this park's Space Mountain. It's themed to boating supply factory pretty much dieing. Now to the fun parts. This is my smaller version of the crazy water ride at TDS. Note the whirlpool. I just imitated the bright colors and turns. Next up is the big expansion though... No scenery view. Not so complicated, but fun none-the-less. This is a powered coaster themed to a little train ride through the woods... it just goes faster. First, some minort work on the Disney Forests entrance plaza. Fastpass for the water coaster, some shoppes, and info booths.... more to be done, obviously.
