  1. ^^Calling it crap usually means you hate it! The down time is kind of disappointing, but you just run to it for the first ride of the day (if you get in the hotel entrance right by it) maybe ride it twice if the line is short, and then it breaks down about midday every day, which is when you go and ride the other rides, and then come back to it and ride it a couple of times in the evening or at night.
  2. Great TR! It's weird how you can't get enough of Dragster, huh? It is by far my favorite ride. Mantis, when I went, was just as bad as you explained. It was like you were in a boxing arena during a match! Totally sucked. Wicked Twister was actually my 3rd favorite in that park. I sit towards the front usually, and I like the weird feeling you get when you are falling backwards and twisting at the same time. Raptor was another of my favorites in the park. It is a nice B&M inverted coaster (something else could be said for Batman) Millennium Force seems to run slow all the time. The sign says something like a 1/4 hr wait, and you end up waiting a full hour. They should not overestimate the wait on it. Top Thril Dragster is by far the best at night! The way the tower is lit up is really cool. The christmas tree lights are really cool, too. If you wait for the front row at night, you are in heaven. The front row is amazing anyway, though. It is the only seat that actually feels different compared to the others. There's a lot of wind up there. It's refreshing and intense! At night, it is also fun to see the speedometer as you rocket by. Lucky me, though, I got to ride it at night in heavy rain! It's like getting shot at! It is painful, but quite an experience! While you drop, you are falling faster than the rain. It's really cool!
  3. You know you're a six flags park when you think of creating a ride, design it, and after that, see it's exact replica on the internet. You know you're a six flags park when you can't think or you're own design for a rocket coaster.
  4. Mty favorite ride is Top Thrill Dragster, but a lot of the people on this forum couldn't give a shit for it
  5. sry i don't have a picture of it, but I saw the speedometer and it said 130 one time (I was not on it, however).
  6. ^usually people call them strata-coasters... ^^^^What does it matter where the hydraulic building is? It makes no difference at all, the restraints make for less "exposure" on the ride, just because it has a duel station doesn't mean it's capacity is greater, the theme is not better, KK is just a copy of TTD with a hill, I felt no difference in the two rides (besides the hill), the hill barely has airtime, and what does it matter if the second hill produces airtime? on both rides you get great air on the tophat.
  7. ^^KK's not much of an "improvement". It's almost worse.
  8. It has to do with the wind at the top! They over-launch it to overpower the wind at the top. KK always over launches a little bit, that's what the trims are for. KK would have been better without trims and the brakes starting at the top of the air-time hill, just like the promo video. It would have been better if the launch was actually 3.5 seconds (instead of 4).
  9. ^^^You could just have the twist be the opposite direction (i.e. Mr. Freeze, without the hurting and about 3 times the height) ^^TTD has a better theme for the speed part of the ride, it has a speedometer (sometimes it launches 130!), you can stand right next to the launch (without having to be in a queue), and the trains are cooler.
  10. As a matter of fact, I rode TTD in the rain (not TCD. I've never heard of it)
  11. You can't make your own sign. You can write whatever you want, but you can't theme it or anything. I don't much put trees so i didn't notice technically, it's not parking lot, it's road. I was talking about HEAVY rain you ritard. Every ride at Cedar Point closes for heavy rain. I'm sure that's true for every other park, they just don't get rain as much. Can't you read either? Since when does the word THRILL look like the word CRAP?
  12. to add a few more... 30. have more than one ride operator 31. have them check every lap bar 32. hire them all and give them wages and raises 33. have people harass them 34. when it rains, make it so that the wheels that move trains out of stations slippery so mechanics have to come and push the trains (unless the part is covered) 35. if a ride needs to replace a part, have a mechanic go and get the specific part and bring it back to the ride 36. have bugs hanging around in the evening so they get all over the front of the trains and on the people sitting in the front row! 37. this is extremely close to impossible, but possibly make it virtual reality 38. have adults with little kids that are too short to ride and have a system like they have at CP (if you have a child that is not capable to ride, you may leave one adult with the child while the other one queues and rides. Then when the adult gets off the ride, they transfer the other adult so they get to ride while the one that just rode watches the kid) 39. have a few sorts of fast pass things so you can choose and people get to legally cut in line 40. have people cut in line 41. have people grafitti in the bathrooms and on benches 42. have people with strollers 43. have police officers escort the vandals out of the park I have more ideas comingto me, but I'll post them later...
  13. To add on to my previous list... 20. wind to make trees sway and launched rides roll back! 21. when it rains the rides actually close and the people run for shelter 22. restaurants so people can eat inside while they sit 23. early morning testing 24. parking lots 25. cars that move 26. people line up to get into your park untilit opens (same with rides) 27. able to design your own signs 28. testing after it rains 29. big problems on some rides that make them stay closed for days at a time (i.e. what happened to KK) and I'm sure I can think of many more...
  14. all of these ideas would probably make one hell of a game! possibly the best coaster game ever!
  15. ^^Dodonpa pulls 2.8 g's!
  16. 1. Have the people actually climb into the trains and pull down the restraints 2. Have a coaster designer resembling NoLimits 3. Be able to walk around the park 4. Have rides be built over time (design it, then trucks arrive with parts, assemble cranes and actually pick up the pieces one by one and construct the coaster) 5. Have an actual month of testing the ride and have problems during testing 6. In a rocket coaster, have a catch car snake under the train to simulate the real thing, have a hydraulic building that you can walk in to an see the hydraulic system working 7. Have a series of gates so the guests can line up in different lines 8. get rid of the grid 9. be able to make your own supports on rides 10. be able to design the station yourself 11. have the park open and close every day/night (set openeing and closing times) 12. better graphics 13. warning lights for launches (i.e. TTD) 14. not launching directly from the station 15. No "instant speed" (i've realized the launches aren't gradual, they are instant) 16. more types of trains to choose from for rides 17. hotels 18. if a ride breaks down, the break down should be a specific part of the ride and if it's track, the mechanic should walk all the way to the track piece and fix it 19. more people watching rides if they are closer to paths That's about all I can think of now, but that list could triple!
  17. ^TTD pulls 2.2 G's while RnR only pulls 1
  18. If they could combine the two ideas into one, that would be the best coaster ever. The only problem is that it would cost way too much money! If a park were able to afford a ride like that, it would be very popular. Let's just wait until a park actually can!
  19. What is wrong with Intamin rocket coasters? People keep dissing them and they're getting popular, too. They've built quite a bit of them over the past couple of years. Personally (this is just my opinion) I think they are the best kind of coaster.
  20. If you know sarcasm so much, how come you can't sense it in what a 14-year-old says?
  21. There has to be more than six cranes over 400 ft. tall in the U.S. It's just not believable
