  1. Pretty sure they posted the exact same picture of Mr Freeze components before. Someone here might be interested:
  2. I do wonder what else is being done to Eagle since they're doing a rare lift hill retrack. The timing at least appears to be not entirely unrelated to the anniversary. We also haven't seen the rest of it - is Gravity Group on site? [It usually takes two seasons for them to do a precut retrack so to have it all done for 2026 they'd have to do some now] Gravity Group's track would enable them to bring back the speed hill that was removed and should allow them to reduce the banking a bit in the turns to make it more like the original experience. A smoother experience and stronger track that needs less constant maintenance are the two benefits of it and both address the reasons those changes were made to the coaster. I love the shots from the workshops. Even though the Boomerang update is a bit obvious - of course every coaster gets new wheels each offseason. They get new wheels throughout a season. New freezers for First Cone are an interesting thing to include in one of these updates since it seems small.
  3. Fairly extensive work on both Mine Train and Batman.
  4. A Gravity Group reprofile might well delete the MCBR - and dramatically reshape that vertical element. Now that they're sticking to two train ops the MCBR is no longer needed for block zone needs. Actually they could shorten most or all three of those hills to some degree to improve the pacing. I could see them adding an outerbank on one of them too* - they've added an odd-banking element on at least one other reprofiling project (Tonnerre 2 Zeus). To compensate for the increased speed a trim would be added to the station flyby - with good programming to ensure it never hits more than it needs to (without it that final turn and airtime pop would likely be painful - and would still be needed if the helix was restored). * I'd put it on either the entry or exit of this turnaround.
  5. Yeah I’d expect a Gravity Group Precut reprofile now more than an RMC conversion. Unfortunately thus far none of the Cedar Flags Gravity Group reprofiled rides have received new trains. Eagle would also see Precut, with Cedar Flags appearing to add it to several old PTC coasters already.
  6. I wouldn't mind running Freeze the way it does in Texas. But first they'd have to keep both trains working.
  7. Behind the Scenes posts have resumed. The The Boss photo wasn't captioned but that chain looks really shiny - looks like a new chain. The Rookie Racer and American Thunder train maintenance is pretty obvious - Mr Freeze train in the 4th photo. And then it looks like a full retrack of Scream's Eagle's lift is in progress.
  8. I agree. Outwardly there doesn't appear to be any reason for it to exist anymore - I think there's far more potential in trying to come up with kid-focused family dining experience and reconfiguring the area in the process. Or even just adding more space for another ride or two for kids. I also firmly believe that Mooseburger should be replaced with something more like the modern eateries that Cedar Fair parks have received (eg: Miami River Brewhouse, The Farmhouse/Grand Pavillion, Lazy Bear Lodge, Firehouse, etc).
  9. The list corporate released wasn't comprehensive - it mostly listed the parks with extremely large and glaring ride removals. There was no reason to believe other parks couldn't receive attractions in 2026. As for the entertainment budget increasing that isn't a shock - corporate is conducting a NATIONAL talent search for the entire chain.
  10. Well a full restoration wouldn’t have been completed in one off season start to finish even if they’d hired PTC itself to do it. It’s not uncommon for carousel restorations to be multi year projects anyway no matter where the work is done or who is doing it. PS: Green Lantern is being very roughly sliced up during removal. It will absolutely not be relocated considering how they’re handling it.
  11. Great Adventure has received a lighting package for their wheel. Hope more of these are in the future for others in the chain.
  12. Cooperate Loves SFSTL! (People show up even when they do nothing)
  13. Cedar Fair isn't a Larson fan - it's more likely ALL of them are being removed than any being relocated. As for the possible relocation of Green Lantern that'd be anyone's guess on if it's going to happen. Legacy Six Flags relocated 3 B&Ms INCLUDING that one so that's something I could have easily seen happening if they were calling the shots. But I also don't think Kingda Ka would be closing if they were in charge still. This is Cedar Fair so I really don't know if they'd have the appetite for a relocation.
  14. Most of the rides being removed at the other parks are being removed for maintenance cost reasons. Green Lantern is probably one of the only exceptions. Great Adventure's Top Spin has been problematic as well - and the parachute tower hadn't been running for a while. La Vibora is in the same boat - and Cedar Fair puts Larson Loops in that category too.
  15. I don't think it'll be a copy of Wrath of Rakshasa - after all that layout is different from Dr Diabolical despite being similar in size. The land area of La Vibora and El Diablo combined is a bit larger than Wrath. But I don't think it's big enough for a giga height dive - certainly not using the full size trains.
  16. It’s just going to be one extra degree beyond vertical. That’s the game they’ve been playing with Dives recently.
  17. The sum of the specific items they announced between those and the 2025 items that are known still isn’t close to $1B. There’s a bunch of unannounced stuff not listed.
  18. I think I'd prefer Gravity Group prefab track over Titan Track.
  19. If they build it they absolutely could come. Same goes for events - better quality events will make the park better compete with other events around town. I don’t think the first season of Holiday in the Park was bad for instance. It was a good start. But it needed to build on that and I’m not sure it really did. With Cedar Fair running the show though and how great Winterfest is I think there’s potential there. But keep in mind even they stopped doing Winterfest at Worlds of Fun.
  20. I didn't make Christmas in July up. It's like a thing some people do, BTW. I'm just saying if they aren't doing Winterfest yet there's a way to use the decorations again.
  21. Christmas in July could work as a special event.
  22. Honestly if the only major addition for 2025 is Winterfest I’d probably actually be pretty happy. I miss Holiday in the Park. PS: If Cedar Flags has any idea of what is good for it they’d make all Halloween events ‘Fright Fest’ and all Christmas events ‘Winterfest’. They go together perfectly.
