  1. Dayum! Looks sweet. Can't wait until it opens! That part of the park is gonna look tall though. With Slingshot and Windseeker, and now Skyhawk. Maybe they will theme that small area to the stratosphere or something. Something to do with the sky since everything there is so tall. Maybe call it Skyzone, or StratoZone, something of that nature.
  2. Does anyone have an update to Skyhawk, like, is anyone seeing parts coming into the park? Did that part from Germany ship in yet that we saw a dew weeks ago? I was just wondering how it looks like now.
  3. I would have to say that Wild Beast is more horrendous than Mighty Canadian Minebuster. But yes, Flight Deck and time Warp are not enjoyable. Lol, Am I "The Chosen One" or something? Because it seems like I am one of the very few that loves and can handle Flight Deck and Time Warp. I seem the enjoy them a lot.
  4. Okay okay. It was just an opinion...
  5. Has been stated several times during quarter earning conference calls. Valleyfair is one of the key markets that they're trying to expand on, along with Carowinds and CA Great America. They don't need as large of an expansion as Carowinds has been needing, but it's still there. Valleyfair has a rather large market available to it, but can only hit around 1 million guests a season when it could easily reach 1.5mil, if not more. Cedar Point pretty much is on its own and really CF can do whatever they want to it as the market is already established and guests will always go there in droves and it's the same with Kings Island. Wonderland is one of those parks too that it's hard to expand on the market when the market is already established, or in their case, the dominate spot in the market. There's a reason why Canada's Wonderland has the highest yearly attendance out of all of the Cedar Fair parks. Makes sense. Now that CF's done some major work on CW over the last few years (2 B&Ms, Windseeker, Guardian etc.), I wouldn't be surprised to see some other "underserved parks getting more TLC in the coming years. However, with that being said, I'm predicting something relatively large taking up Skyrider's spot next year. The park's stated that the removal of Skyrider was a "multi-year project", and with land clearing going on all around the area (including inside Splashworks/near WWC), I'm guessing we'll either see a total revamp of Splashworks or a medium to large sized coaster. My guess for 2017 is we'll not see a total revamp of Splashworks, but, some slides added near Mighty Canadian Minebuster's first drop as they were clearing land there last year. Also, I think we'll see a dive coaster where SkyRider was. I mean, there isn't much room there but, a dive coaster can be quite compact if they wanted it to be. Maybe it won't be a total revamp, but, I wouldn't be surprised if the got a new entrance (extending into skyrider's spot), plus the slides near Minebuster that you mentioned. With other large water parks opening in the region (Calypso Park a few hours east, plus the preposed indoor waterpark for the GTA), other older waterparks are upping the anti; just look at WildWater Kingdom. They're completely redoing their park, most likely to compete with Calypso. I wouldn't be surprised if CW does something similar. As for the coaster rumor, I'm guessing the land clearing near Minebuster could be for a coaster (if splash works doesn't get any more additions next year). The station would likely be in Skyrider's old spot, and the coaster would probably interact with the area around Minebuster/splash works. Probably something from B&M, maybe Mack or RMC? I'm hoping for a B&M wing or Dive still for 2017 or maybe we will have the honor for one of the first RMC single rail or Monorail coasters (whatever you wanna call it but you get the point) but I'm sure we will get some sort of surprise for the 35th anniversary.
  6. Biblical Mythology. Google it. All related with Behemoth and Leviathan
  7. This is my Month by Month prediction going into next season... Sept and Oct: Haunt prep and Final Land prep before winter November: Skyhawk and Eagles Construction Dec-Jan-Feb: Nothing much cause snow March: Construction fence goes up for Ziz May: Ohio plant lays out tracks for us and CW construction prep starts with machines showing up June: Footers and Station goes up July & August: Teasers, Announcement and Offical track construction with supports start.
  8. Dont forget about those people that looked like officials that you saw at the exit of Minebuster scoping out the area that you mentioned to me on FB
  9. Havent been ever to Haunt believe it or not. Out of all the years I have been coming to CW. So this year is my first so hopefully these changes are good if its my t time
  10. Just RMC WB or MB and i'll be happy. Lol.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised. When we walked passed on Saturday there were survey markers all over that area. It's such a big space I'm surprised they didn't put a larger attraction there. Unless Skyhawk and Eagles are just the first phase of something bigger. I think they are turning that area into a plaza for Skyhawk with more food stands and snack shaks around.
  12. Friend told me that SkyHawk's construction fence is going up this week. So it looks like they will re-landscape that hill to be flatter to fit the ride on. Hoping ( like everybody else is ) that construction fence for "Ziz" would go up in the spring when the Snow melts.
  13. On that key hole element idea over splash work's enterence. My inner RCT3 Scenic side of my came out and thought that they should make it two tall rock like towers with water fall from the top to represent splash works while the wing coaster barrel rolls through the key hole on the inside. Its hard to explain but i think you guys get the point
  14. Sorry, but I strongly disagree with this. I've been to the park 5 times this season and each time Leviathan's crew has been awesome. If the seatbelts have affected anything it's barely discernible. Already best friends with one of the Crew Members, well not as much since we hate eachother's teams, but I wore a Real Madrid jersey and he is a Barcelona fan and those two teams are massive rivals if you didn't already know. But I saw him at Leviathan a couple times this season and he said it is a bit slower thanks to the seat belts.
  15. How do you know that more track has been made at that B&M track manufacturing plant? Coasterstudio's FB page
  16. I just remembered that now they are getting a trio tech ride.... They wanted an interactive dark ride, so maybe it will be all grave themed and you have to fight the beast/bird Valravn.
  17. More track has been made at that B&M track manufacturing plant. This time it is Brown with Grey supports. It is most likely Valravn's, But if you compare Ziz and Valravn, Ziz's colour scheme looks more like those colours while Valravn would be more Midnight Blueish, Purple and Black. I could be wrong, but that red track is still there. I thought it was already gone to China for their Wingrider..... Also I would like to add, I've been thinking a lot about that land clearing behind Backlot and that dirt pile by Minebuster. What if they will be extending the layout of Minebuster if they would be giving it the RMC Ironbuster makeover, and that dirt pile was supposed to act like a terrain element while the land clearing by Backlot would be full of overbanks and inversions. Just a guess tho, we will have to wait and see. ALSO (Lol), Would Cedar Fair add two Dive Coasters in one year? CW and CP? Just guessing if that would be Cedar Fair's way of Debuting theeir first Dive Machines. Just a guess.
  18. More markers were put in. Now they are leading out to Timber Wolf Falls and White Water Canyon. Maybe that's the possible layout of a coaster? Cedit to Brendon Cross from the CWmania FB page with the info
  19. ^^^^ Or that sprinkler system of ours is a splash down or water special affect....
  20. I have a feeling the station isn't going in Skyrider's spot. If it were a wing coaster, that plot of land would be perfect for a pretzel loop or a turn around. Maybe they'll squeeze it in between Minebuster and Stunt Coaster or something...
  21. Stange.... I have Leviathan on my google earth.... i'm not sure if you guys meant Earth when you said maps. Also, I think the weights are for a Hole puncher/drill to make holes for footers.
  22. Something like those Motorcycle coasters you see in Europe... Not too big, not too small. That would be alright. But this just came to my attention. All this talk about Leviathan having footers before the season started are wrong..... They started making them in OCTOBER!!! So we can still possibly see a 2016 coaster. Nothing to be sure about here 100% Cause now they are planting grass in the land clearing areas. We just need to wait. We just gotta chill and wait. Around July cement trucks for footers were appearing, so we still got a few months left to see what actually is going to happen
  23. I think 2016 we will get a Drop Slide complex, then one of those half pipe flat rides and maybe a flying scooter ride for planet snoopy. you know something new for the kiddies and a lot of parks are adding them now so it is a possibility. Then we get the big project in 2017 with that Wingrider or Floorless or whatever you want to predict.
  24. it was on one of the post's comments
  25. It's a great page, I am James Zurawski on it
