Is anyone interested in carpooling to Cedar Point from Chicago 9/1-9/2? We will be leaving Chicago on 9/1 7am and leaving Sandusky for Chicago on 9/2 late afternoon or evening. You'd have to make your own lodging arrangements (we're staying at the Howard Johnson Express on Milan rd). We have room for 2 more in my car, at 2014 Chevy Spark.

I'm a season pass holder and I'm trying to find the promo code to get the $5 per person season pass holder discount on the Flash pass. Does anyone know where to find it?

I'm going this Friday July 10 and I have a "bring a friend free" ticket that I don't plan on using so I'm giving it away. The only complication is that we must enter the gate at the same time and I'm not sure what time I will be getting there. If interested, contact me to coordinate.

Flash Pass is $110/person per day for Platinum, $70 per person per day for Gold. I think there's a cheaper tier of flash pass for $45 but it's not really worth it because it doesn't reduce your wait time, just holds your spot.

The thrill pass is $67.99, same as the one-day non-discounted admission, and only $20 more than the discounted admission. It includes unlimited admission until September 12. If you're going for two days, I would buy the thrill pass. Then buy the flash pass for one of those days. Or see if they still sell twickets but I doubt it.

Viper used to be an underrated coaster, in my opinion, but in recent years operations seem to be slacking off, which makes it not worth the wait.

Each season pass holder gets 2 "bring a friend free " days (3 if you're a gold pass holder). The dates are as follows: Free ticket #1: Pick one day June 3 thru 5 or June 8 thru 12 Gold passholder bonus ticket: pick one day July 6 thru 10 Free ticket #2 Pick one day August 18 thru 21 Friend using the free ticket must enter with the season pass holder when the season pass holder initially enters the park that day. The season pass holder cannot enter the park, leave, and then re-enter to bring the friend in for free.

There's a 50/50 chance I'll be at King's Island tomorrow. I haven't been there before.

I wouldn't buy one more than a couple days ahead of time. If the weather forecast is beautiful and it's a bring a friend free day, the flash passes could sell out, but they usually don't.

Beware June 3-5 and June 8-12 as those are the season passholder bring a friend free days and you should be prepared to wait an hour for a burger those days.

Did anyone else buy the Xtreme Pass in 2012? I did and it was horribly implemented, but since they moved to a more paperless system, they could try selling it again but use a paperless system for the "skip the line" pass instead of making passholders wait a half hour in line at the guest relations booth to receive their paper skip the line pass. I would give it another shot if they fixed that issue. Any thoughts?

Online any time or at the park during normal park operating hours, if they are still offering the deal when the park opens. I would just buy them online. I am not sure if you can buy them at Jewel.
