Well it all depends on who gets the park... I highly doubt HFE, Cedar Fair, or Premier would run it to the ground... If they owned it... Keep it out of the hands of Interment companies that really don't know what they are doing with Amusement Parks. Even Six Flags was owned by a guy who had no clue...

Thumbs up for the progress Doug. I also noticed that Giants Wheel's spokes were repainted.. Great Job Mind Erasers supports are currently being painted on non-operating days, and should be completely painted by the time we reach daily operation. Slamming Cedar Point, and getting nasty to others on this thread is hardly necessary. We are only here to offer suggestions to make Darien Lake a better place. If you think about it in a certain light we (The guests) do pay for upkeep of the rides, and park. Every time we visit the park, and spend money there. I don't think adding the 2nd trains to the coasters on really busy days is a unreasonable request. It may even take pressure off the ride operators. I now know where to send the bill for replacement parts and daily preparation labor costs. Oh and I know who I would like to promote to operations manager. Training efficiency is difficult. You really need to your staff to buy into the philosophy as to why efficiency is important. Even more difficult is convincing teens and young adults who are there simply for a paycheck to work efficiently when there is no direct benefit for them. There is the correct Human Resource way of doing it, and there is the Cedar Point way of doing it. One of them involves positive reinforcement, the other involves fear for losing a job or making a work experience a living hell. I imagine Darien Lake's location prevents them from having a large base to build a staff from, so threatening job security or making a hostile environment that causes employees to quit is not the way to develop efficient operations. Inspiring and motivating efficiency, the correct HR way, is not an easy feat. Hopefully, Darien Lake can work to improve efficiency and friendliness of their staff.

Are you all kidding me!? 2.5 hours wait for the ROS?? I was just at Cedar Point, and waited no longer than 1 hour per coaster. Most Coasters had 3 trains, and a couple had only 2. Maverick, and Dragster had six a piece. All of you rushed to CNl, and primer's defense, and chastise me for being critical of them. I can tell you that Six Flags did a better job with Darien lake, and Cedar Fairs do a better job with their parks. Well you can all wait the 2.5 hours for Ros... I would rather drive 4 hours, and ride Roller Coasters...

This must surely be why they are installing two thrill rides for this season! Correction 1 Thrill ride. 1 Water Slide. Also the only reason Rolling Thunder is in place is to replace the UFO. When they put the 3 in for Rowdy's Ridge what did the replace? Can't say the scrambler cause it's back. If you look at the park website, and check where it divides family rides vs Thrill rides. That will speak for itself. The lop sided lean toward family friendly rides.

About the spinning coaster. We already have one bomb (The motoCoaster) I am so sick of hearing about Family rides. There are enough family rides in the park already. In fact Rowdy's ridge just installed 3 (Family rides) just a few years ago. There are not enough thrill rides! This is why I rather spend extra on gas to go to Cedar Point. So in summery A spinning Coaster is a bad idea. My vote is with the Impulse

Nightmare at Phantom cave was a piece of crap. It wasn't even worth the wait of the line. Good riddance to that coaster. Now we just have one more piece of junk coaster to get rid of "The MotoCoaster"
