  1. I am also shocked! I saw it on the local news and my mouth dropped, literally. I went there once and loved it more than what I was expecting. Location, food, service, and the show itself is a really good, fun, family time. If anyone has a chance to see the one in Tennessee, please go because it is an excellent time. You won't regret it! -Theme Park CEO (I will really miss their apple turnover. The best EVER!)
  2. Awesome photos! And I completely agree with you- the first photo of Illuminations is the best pic. It came out very clear (you do have a Nikon )
  3. Awesome update! and... food is better then sex??? I've got to try that popcorn. DisneySea really is a beautiful park. I can't wait to go there! (some day )
  4. ^ I don't think that site is actually working, cause I just tried it, it's lke10:55 at night, and the wait times say 5 or 10 or 15 min. yea...right. the parks closed at 7. i'll try it again tomorrow. it would be great if it did work!
  5. ^really? i was under the impression that they had stoped doing it. I haven't heard of them still doing it. interesting
  6. We're supposed to be in winter now in Orlando, but it's 80+ degrees, sunny, and no clouds! Perfect day to be in a theme park, at the beach, or outside somewhere!
  7. I went there in '06 and loved it. have you been to the website recently, cause it explains all of the slides and attractions (which are free and included with your stay). The huge aquarium with the manta ray is amazing. and, of course, the beach is beutiiful too. And I definetly recomend a little ice cream parlor on the outdoor side shopping area. the ice cream is delicious. If you have a chance, go there for a try. Have a great time on your vacation!!!
  8. ^Go to wincustomize.com or google object dock. I have it too, and I love it! Here's my current desktop... This is an island called Phi Phi Island, in Thailand. I customized each link to a program with an object!
  9. Requiem for a Tower - Corner Stone Cues
  10. Hey everybody! I've been registered here since '05, but never participated in the forums till now. I live in orlando, fl, literally 1 min from Sea World. I love theme parks, roller coasters, video recording and editing, etc... I work in Universal, have a pass to Sea World, and my mother works in Disney. So I get in free everywhere. LOL My current project is a Food & Wine Festival music video that I'm making. I'm about half way done. Anyway, good to meet everybody!
  11. I have several home parks (I live in Orlando). But the best roller coaster would have to be Hulk in Islands of Adventure. That first launch is crazy good!
  12. I really hope that the other parks follow, but, disney got nintendo. the only other console that could do this would be Sony's PSP, and universal isn't going to grab them beacuase sony is a competitor in the music biz. But imagine this system also available for use with the PSP! Anyway, great for Disney, bad for the others.
  13. They're testing it next week in Magic Kingdom. No other specifics were givin for the future of it. But it's an extremely handy thing to have, "complimentary". LOL Universal was testing, what Disney was already testing, with getting info via call phones. You'ld be able to get wait times and other info by texting in. But Universal never really went into it. And I'm guessing that if you were to lose or break the DS, you'ld pay for it. And like someone said, it REALLY comes in handy with the kids. Imagine waiting 1-2 hours in line for Splash Mountain with lillte kids on a hot summer day... If they were to have a DS with them, they could play games about the ride while they wait, and what not. Or you can avoid the line all-together because you would have seen the wait time when you were in Tomorrowland.
  14. For all the theme park and techno gurus out there, Disney is going to start field testing this new system called Disney Magic Connection. It uses the Nintendo DS to get information wirelessly throughout the park. You can find out wait times and Fastpass availability, find out what characters are in the park and where to find them, you can enter the attractions and shows they’d like to see and have the device organize their day, play games themed to the attraction they’re visiting, and, my personal favorite, see interactive maps of the park! So a guest rents the DS at the front, pays a fee to use it and leaves a credit card number as a deposit, and gets live info the entire day. If that's not awesome, I don't know what is. LOL There's no more info as to whether you can use your own, or you have to actually buy there's or how much it'll even be to use. They're going to start field testing it in Magic Kingdom next week by randomly selecting families to test it. I think that Disney can really bank on this idea! I would pay $10-$15 to get all that info and map all day long. Would you? Tell us what you think about this new system!
  15. Completely agree with everything said. Nuff said.
  16. Everest at night is awesome! now i have to go try it, or when it starts to close a little later cause it's closing at 5 now. It looks much scarier! (^and halltd: that's also a cool experience! cool=cold & awesome lol)
  17. HILARIOS!!! That ride is long enough as it is, and having to hear it three times. dear god. LOL!
  18. ADMIN EDIT: I'm sure everyone would love to see your video, but this is NOT the forum to do it in. From the site's TOS (What you clicked "I agree" to when you signed up): Please upload your video in the proper form, in the proper file format. --Robb "Video deleted, Thread Closed." Alvey
