  1. I/we enjoy the park- so not trying to bring things down on this forum- that said, my thoughts are best here on this post....."TLC all, around the park and the reopening of the path between Ka and Toro and Old Country with some new rides, GADV will be golden."
  2. That has been/continues to be my #1 frustration with the park! I get it- capital on major attractions each year is the #1 priority to maintain/drive people in the park....I wish that they could set aside further expenses for purposes of maintaining the cleanliness of these types of areas, weeds, cracked pavement, etc.
  3. Headed to the park for a couple hours today- not an overwhelming crowd. (Finally) made it onto Zumajaro.....got in line around 2pm (about 100 people deep), and the ride wasn't running at the time, which caused about a 1/3rd of the line to drop out. Made it on within 40 minutes (10 minutes of which was due to the fact that they were testing it without passengers). Did I like the ride? Yes- being that high is a great feeling.....however, roller coasters are still my thing. It did not seem like the 2 cycle through of Kingda Ka vs.1 Zumajaro totally killed the capacity (of Zumajaro) like I've been reading about....does it hurt it to some degree? Of course- but doesn't kill it like some are making it out to seem. Anytime you put a major ride with a capacity of only 24 people per cycle/no second ride to load while one is running.....in a park the size of a SFGA- you are going to expect/see a long line. Didn't make it onto Kingda Ka- so can't gauge/comment how the capacity has been hurt.....
  4. So showed up at the park today at 10am.....moved quickly through Security/Ticket Gates (nice job SFGA)- and "strategically" got right up front (on the rope), with good intent to be one of the 1st on Zumajaro this morning. I didn't know that Season Pass Holders "got a break" and were allowed ahead of the crowd around 10:20am- so I took advantage of that, and landed approx. #40 on line. So- I waited, waited, waited....no Zumajaro running. Long story short- I gave up on the line, hit El Toro (front seat) and headed home....disappointed to take a few hours at the park this morning, and not be able to get on Zumajaro. I'm fine with working out kinks, safety precautions, etc.....however- I'd like the park to be upfront with when the ride was going to open (stupid me figured it would be up and running at 10:30am....I should know better!).....instead of letting a long line build, with no explanation, and frustrated guests. Thanks for listening!
  5. Get ready for next Thursday, July 3rd to be one of the first on Zumanjaro- season pass holders only on Thursday/ GP on Friday, July 4th. Official AP release is here: http://www.app.com/story/news/local/2014/06/26/zumanjaro-opens-thursday/11423221/
