It will happen before Haunt for sure. GM Dave Frasier said the announcement will happen before or on the 17th. I am impatient now also, I want to know all the details especially since GM Dave also said there would be demolition in September so we know there will be at least one serious change to the water park. With you not making Haunt opening weekend who is going to post a review on all the new stuff and changes this year? I plan on going the 27th, so I could write a blog post about that night then, otherwise I may go the 21st and write Live E reviews too. Or I might ditch my plans on the 20th (it's a school dance), or leave it early for Haunt. Kinda bummed I can't make it, although I won't be able to point out TOO many changes, because I've never really experienced all of Haunt (I was too chicken), but I will write a blog post on everything as soon as I end up going (and I'm sure I will write a few).

I hope it happens today or sometime before Haunt. I mean, yeah, we almost for sure know it'll be a Waterpark expansion, but I wanna know EXACTLY what it is. I'm so impatient On a sadder note, I can't make it to Haunt opening or closing weekend like I was planning

^^ I'll be going tomorrow to ride some rides with Fast Lane passes with friends (who aren't coaster geeks ), so if I have time/see anything I'll be sure to let you all know!

So a few questions that just popped into my mind regarding Haunt/Dinoslaughter... 1. Will Dinoslaughter cost extra since it's in Dino's Alive/will season pass holders get their usual discount? 2. How far back will Dinoslaughter go? Because isn't part of the path used to get to Camp Wekilou (and now also London Terror)? It seems like an interesting idea, and I'm excited to see how it turns out, but I hope it doesn't turn out to be disappointing like the Carnevil scarezone was last year.

For anyone who likes Haunt, Hellside and Asylum construction are coming along quite nicely. Was on the Snoopy Rocketship (don't judge) and could see the tent like building is coming along nicely as well.

I noticed that when I rode it yesterday too.. I really hope it's not permanent. What time of day did you ride it? I rode it close to park closing , and I noticed a man from maintenance was in the control booth too, so I was thinking it was just a temporary thing. I rode it at about 10:30, so not too long after the park opened

Do you think we'll hear official announcements about Haunt soon? Knott's is announcing theirs today, and I'm impatient xD We're 45 days away, and this time last year we were witnessing construction and things were being announced, but there's nothing yet.

Cool! What did you do use to film your Best Day Ever? Camera phone? Handheld video camera? How long was it? Are you sharing it some where like YouTube that we can take a look at it? Sorry this has nothing to do with the "future coaster" conversations, but I was one of the winners for the Best Day Ever contest, meaning I won tickets, souvenir bottles, and fast lane passes. I was wondering where are the fast lane pass entrances on those select rides? I really can't remember and I'd rather know ahead of time instead of walking around confused. Thanks in advance!

^ Yay, that's awesome to know that Chateau is coming back (at least, it's awesome to me!)- it was my first maze ever so it's always been a favorite. Also really exciting to know we're getting something new again this year. I feel like this is going to be a really good year for Haunt!

Ooh, how exciting! I see Bloodcreek Cemetery not coming back then. Rumor is Chateau won't be back, I hope that's not true. I can't wait for everything to be revealed! Anyone know when they'll "officially" announce everything?

I know something with Xtreme Swing happened in the past few years (I think it was last year) that caused it to only run one side? Bummer that Skyhawk incident happened.

I don't know how into Live Entertainment any of you are, but I have friends who work at the company that provides the improv actors for Hacks! in the Galaxy Theatre during Haunt, and they have confirmed that they WILL be coming back this fall! Don't know if any of you have checked it out, but if you find yourself at Haunt this year, I highly recommend checking it out.
