I think its clear that it's getting removed, whether or not the app update means anything. After the raptor Magic Mountain has the perfect opportunity to install the world's tallest/fastest/first inverting water coaster etc...

True, but I would bet there are more marketable names once the park is full-disney and has really lost its california theme. EPCOT has kept some of its main attractions and events that EPCOT is truly known for, while calirofnia adventure has really been slowly dismantling everything california. there is still buena vista, grizzly peak, and radiator springs, but I just think the name will soon no longer be fitting at all, especially with the opening of the marvel area. I could just see them renaming the park in the years to come after more significant changes are made.

So when do we think Disney will rename California Adventure? It seems like they have been abandoning the california theme, which im honestly okay with. Its nostalgic since I grew up with that but it is way more marketable to do what they are doing. Any thoughts on when they might finally change the name and to what to? Feel free to disagree id love to know why

I have a strong feeling the 2022 raptor it will be themed to the Joker, and I really hope they do something cool with the station/theming. Joker, or whatever it will be called, is going to be located right between Batman the Ride and Riddler's Revenge, 2 of the park's best themed coasters and queue lines. Green Lantern had okay-ish theming with a pretty empty bare station, but im hoping they do something cool like SFDK with their Joker entrance. I would love to see a fun house themed queue even if the station is pretty bare which I expect. I wonder what they will replace the giant green lantern with? Maybe a Joker face?

Do we have any good guesses at when the park may reopen? Is it going to take the country being vaccinated or might it only take just some people? In my head im hoping the park opens in april but maybe im being too optimistic. I have not been in YEARS (its my home park) and im missing it more than ever right now.

I visited Cedar Point for my first and only time in June 2014. It was amazing and the roller coasters really lived up to their name. I really want to return next year but there is one thing that is holding me back. The bugs. They were unbearable while I was there. I almost never see people complain about them and it makes me think maybe im just sensitive? Whether that is true or not, how do people deal with the bugs shooting at their face on the rides, especially around dusk? Also, I wear glasses now and I didnt before so maybe wearing those on the ride? p.s. this is my first post since 2015! It took taking theme parks away to make me remember how much I missed them lol. I havnt rode a roller coaster in 5 years!

Went from 840-120. Did 4 Mazes, since lines for Vault 666 was super long and willoughbys line was not moving so we left it. Toyz was eh, reds was really good, garden of darkness was good, and aftermath was really fun. Also got to do TC in front row finally cause they did not have a person telling you where to sit. Also rode X2 after park closing. I dont know what it was but i swear x2 was running FAST last night holy crap.

Call me crazy, but I am really not buying this. . . Until it comes straight from Six Flags then I am not going to believe it. For some reason I don't believe this "Tammy Duffy" really knows anything more than anyone else. If you watch this video, and the it is damn near the same video. Same shots of the coaster, except maybe mirrored, and same music... It just looks like someone had some fun with some video editing software. While yes Six Flags could use similar promo videos for the two coasters I highly doubt the two videos would be this similar. Maybe I'm on my own here, but I really don't think this is the real deal. If it is I will be surprised, but for now I am not holding my breath. I know a thing or two about video editing and I can definitely say that that this video was not made from the SFFT Batman video. The background rides fit in too well with the video for it to be a person having fun with video editing software. What this most likely is was the animation company doing a copy and paste of the Batman ride model and animation in to the Great Adventure park model. The reason some of the animations and music are identical is probably because they were just placeholders until they could come up with new ones for the final video we may see tomorrow. This probably an unfinished trailer for the ride that got leaked. Good point I agree with you. I bet this is just a placeholder animation to test it out then they put the real bigger model in. That would explain the "no stats" and stuff.

Unfortunately, everything was lost due to a computer issue. Since I had already built the next year ride, here is what it was. I built the first Intiman Pre-fab woodie in the United States. It was actually really cool looking. So the park is gone....but I will be downloading theme park studio and this summer I am going to create a park called "Six Flags Over Canada". It is going to be an awesome park I assure you all. There will be a better story than there was here as well. TIll then, See ya and have a district of fun day!

Since X2 likely will not be open right off the bat during the Discover Card entry, I would say to go to YOLO, then pass X2, if its open ride that, if not, make your way up to Tatsu. After that you should go to Superman/Ninja, then down to Apocalypse, then to RIddlers, then to Green Lantern, Then to Batman, Then to Lex. There ya go!

How busy is the park on a thursday on the third weekend of june? Is a platinum fast pass needed? Also, how busy is the waterpark from 5-7? Feedback very appreciated.

That video is great. I think it would be cool if the park put in a light system that has like 10 different colors projected around the coaster. That would be the coolest looking ride at night in my opinion.
