I'm sorry but I'm a little confused about your post. Exactly where did Six Flags get caught in a lie?

Slow? Not calling you out or anything, But when I arrived around 4 I almost couldn't find a parking spot because it was SO BUSY. Even the news reported last night that "due to the fatal accident Friday it didn't stop THOUSANDS of people from visiting today." To give you and idea of how busy it was, I had to park in the very back right by Rangers Ballpark.

IRAT is not in operation at this time. I believe I read until the investigation concludes.

So sad. I feel so bad for the family, and the park.

Yeah I wouldn't expect a large investment like IRAT in 2014. I've done some research and can't find any rumors for Fiesta in 2014, but have found other rumored attractions for some of the other parks in the chain. Fiesta has a bunch of shows, I mean that's what they are known for. So maybe a new show. Plus Fiesta is running out of room I believe. The only free area of land I know of is just past the boardwalk. Right?

I loved riding TSS at night. It really does provide incredible views of DFW and the park.

I couldn't see OT ever getting rid of ShockWave. It's been a park icon since 1978 and ranks high in Amusement today's top 50 steel coasters. It doesn't sound like the reason the ride is down is because of it's age. Screamscape reports a wheel may have come off and scraped up the tract pretty bad.

Yeah I agree, the inside seats seem to have less of a rattle then the outside. But with saying that, the outside seats are not horrible. IRAT is spoiling all of us! lol

According to Screamscape special parts must be ordered, that could take a long time, and that's why it could be closed all season.

It looks like the info on ShockWave being down for the season is true. This will be a BIG loss for Six Flags Over Texas.
