  1. All I got was a thank you for visiting the park email. Which I deleted without opening
  2. Sounds like someone is trolling. They did change the pink things. They are now $2 and include a whistle.
  3. My last trip to SFOT resulted in much motion sickness. To the point I started to feel ill. I used to take Dramamine but now I'm older so there is the sleepiness issue. Any thing like ginger or sea bands work for amusement parks?
  4. SFOT 3 times Frontier City Does Legoland Discovery Center count? Been there twice
  5. I rode the whizzer 6 times with my wife and kids on our trip last year. I remember riding this in 97 and thinking it was lame. 15 years later and I enjoy it the most.
  6. From 183 to 360 the skyskreamer looked impressive. In the park its still a giant. I took pics to show my friends but pics don't do it justice. I didn't see any testing this weekend. I guess its only when the park is closed. Any idea when freeze returns to normal? I'm not a RB fan.
  7. Are there any good 42" rides? Looks like roadrunner express is it. SFoT has 3 decent 42" rides (judge, shockwave and minetrain) so I'm hoping sfft does too.
  8. I was in line at runaway mountain which did take 40 minutes but that's to be expected. After that I went to kids area for an hour. Made it to Gotham after 6 and it was clear. Waited 2-3 trains for freeze
  9. I was at the park the last two days and it was dead after 4pm. 3 should be fine. I was really surprised. Friday around 3 I counted around 20 people in line for the titan. If the rangers game ends around park closing time then plan for a 45 minute wait leaving. Last night took me an hour to get to 183 from the time I got in my car
  10. I heard a rumor that the shopping center would be a green lantern ride a few years back. Rumors... I went yesterday and it was 65° with mostly walk on rides. Absolutely amazing My phone won't post pics right now but only the vibora and runaway mountain had waits
  11. Its 30s and rain where I'm at so hopefully its nice tomorrow at the park. TWC says 62 and sunny
  12. Yeah he said they'll tell us on 5/13. In the meantime the SFFT twitter account retweeted that link about 5 times today. Rumor has been GP on Memorial Weekend all along. If its sooner I won't be surprised but 5/25 sounds like a safe bet. I'm still hoping for the 17th or 18th.
  13. According to this link which was retweeted by SFFT a few minutes ago the date is 5/25. I was really hoping for 5/24. I hope I still get a chance to go to SFFT on the 25th. I know I can the 24th. http://sana.halfoffdeals.com
  14. I'm going to Houston and trying to squeeze in SFFT for the iron rattler.
  15. Why do you guys do this to me? I recognize your name from the fiesta Texas Twitter. I thought you were RMC. I'll be there in 3 weeks. I need to know if I should postpone my trip!
  16. The mighty Wildcat at Frontier City. It could have been the Steel Lasso though.
  17. From what I can tell the stl gp prefers the water park over the rest of the park. The water park is always busy while the lines to the coasters were non existent
  18. Looks like the Rattler will open May 17th. http://www.clickedin.com/Six-Flags-Fiesta-Texas-Be-the-first-to-ride-the-Iron-Rattler?cid=SOC_TWT_IRONRATTLER_SA_041613 This is great news for me!
  19. I have never been. I'm hoping for good stuff in the 36" and up department. Roadrunner Express looks cool but 42". I'll probably have to ride the Rattler alone as my wife and I will have to switch who watches the kids in line
  20. I'm hoping the 18th but I'll settle for 23rd
  21. I had to book my hotel. I chose 5/24. Rattler better be open!
  22. American Thunder is 48". My kids are 39" and 43" so I get his point about Jr coasters. We stopped at Stl going to great America last summer. GA had more rides my youngest could ride. We are going to FT and SWSA this summer and my youngest won't get to ride much. For a family (biggest customer) this makes it less appealing. That being said, bring on the big coaster!
  23. How about a Junior Coaster so adults can ride it too? A Zierer Tivoli Large Maybe? More parks need roller coasters for 36" and up that adults can enjoy. The whizzer is the best example of this. The kiddie coasters here are AE, mine train and pandemonium
