Hope so as well, along with putting the Large Screamin' Eagle Sign back on the Third Hill (the hill behind the Station) -

Oh, I know that. It was just an observation how parks determine the lifespan of Coasters, etc. If these lifespans were true, then most of SFSTL coasters would be expired. -

I just read on Screamscape BG Tampa will be retiring Kumba this year. According to the Park and B&M Reps, the ride has reached it's life limit and it's time to retire it. That got me thinking about our be-loved Ninja. It was built in 86, moved from Canada to our Park in '87. If Kumba's life span is done then one would think the Ninja should be as well. I think I posted a few years ago, jokingly, it's Shelf Life was done. Makes you also wonder about all the Batman clones built in the Mid-90s as well. Just thoughts for the day -

or a 4D Free Spin. Then re-locate Scream from SFMM and install in the back (Tidal Wave) towards the East. Then SFSTL will be complete coaster wise for a long time, imo. -

Ninja was built in '86 and should have been scrapped in '87. -

It all started when STL Leadership denied Disney to build a Park here in the mid 60s -

for the record, I am not on the 'Corp Hates Us' bus but I think we can all agree that SFStL seems like an afterthought at times. -

No doubt... pretty cheap and dull. I remember (dating myself here) when Screamin' Eagle's Queue ran Air Conditioning (70's and early 80's). Not sure if those old A/C units are still there, but they were rusting away for years. I hope they removed them, what an eye-sore they would be. thanks for the picture! -

How about removing the rest of the Go-Kart Track! that would be a good start on the To Do List. -

That's cool, the Skyline won't change too drastically then. How tall is CW Whip? -

Maybe this is old news, but check out recently updated Google Satellite Shots of SFStL. Looks like Screamin' Eagle's first Queue Bldg is demolished and there appears to be some construction at the old Tidal Wave spot. Anyone know more? -

I'd love seeing the Park getting sold off to local investors. Maybe I'd been in the minority here but I think the park would be better taken care of. With SF, I think STL is sort of an afterthought. I am not on the 'Corporate Hates Us' bus but it's apparent STL do not get attention this park needs. -

Like I said earlier... in a word, simply put - Corporate does not hate our park, but it may look that way if you are a expecting a coaster every 3 years. -

My guess is Six Flags Corp believes SFSTL has everything it needs - 9 coasters and a good selection of Flats. Corporate is not neglecting the park, it keeps things updated and running fine. What Corp neglects is the few Dozen Local Coaster Enthusiasts who wish SFSTL was King's Island. I am one of those folks so I feel your pain... but fortunately for us, KI isn't too far away. -

Exciting to hear construction is finally getting under way. Great news about the Eagle's queue as well. Hopefully soon they will be building and installing, rather than demolishing and removing (as we have seen enough of that in the last few years). -
