  1. I'd be happy with a transplant right now. Scream from Magic Mountain (like anyone would miss it over there) in Tidal Wave's spot would fit the bill nicely. Midwest would have a Floorless too.
  2. if STL would do that then Magic Mountain would not get their 40th Coaster
  3. ...and us Old Folk have gone Gray awaiting that all elusive Hyper Coaster. Next year is the year, right! ...maybe not
  4. I prefer well-seasoned... 55 and still riding coasters.
  5. I remember when it was a BBQ joint. My first visit to the park, the Screamin' Eagle wasn't even built yet.
  6. Maybe it was the Carousel queue ? or having a Smoke at the Go Fresh Cafe ??
  7. Guessing the fence is to block the view of the old Moon Car Track. If so, Classy
  8. There is a Mule shortage Zack, haven't you heard? Everything goes to hell when Mules aren't readily available.
  9. That's too bad.... I have seen a few concerts as well at our park. ...and I hate hearing about security issues too. Seems like folks just can't get along anymore.
  10. Bummer... seems a waste of space and revenue stream
  11. with the 1st Queue House from the Eagle removed, maybe they can expand the Kidde Land there. Bumper Cars, Junior Coaster etc
  12. SFSTL does lack Family and Kids attractions for sure... you would think the park and corp knows this. Bumper Cars, Moon Cars, Ordinary Swing Ride (replace by Sky Screamer, definitely not a family attraction), Carousel (SBNO), Junior Coaster (from the old Kid's area). what else am I missing?
  13. The Park is looking great! thanks for the Photos.
  14. you go upside down 3 times, forwards and backwards... incredible aint it!?
  15. Hope so as well, along with putting the Large Screamin' Eagle Sign back on the Third Hill (the hill behind the Station)
  16. Oh, I know that. It was just an observation how parks determine the lifespan of Coasters, etc. If these lifespans were true, then most of SFSTL coasters would be expired.
  17. I just read on Screamscape BG Tampa will be retiring Kumba this year. According to the Park and B&M Reps, the ride has reached it's life limit and it's time to retire it. That got me thinking about our be-loved Ninja. It was built in 86, moved from Canada to our Park in '87. If Kumba's life span is done then one would think the Ninja should be as well. I think I posted a few years ago, jokingly, it's Shelf Life was done. Makes you also wonder about all the Batman clones built in the Mid-90s as well. Just thoughts for the day
  18. Sweet, very sweet... but insert 'When Pigs Fly' cliche here
  19. or a 4D Free Spin. Then re-locate Scream from SFMM and install in the back (Tidal Wave) towards the East. Then SFSTL will be complete coaster wise for a long time, imo.
  20. Ninja was built in '86 and should have been scrapped in '87.
  21. It all started when STL Leadership denied Disney to build a Park here in the mid 60s
