Just wondering. Does anyone think the park will be really packed tomorrow? (you know because schools aren't in on Monday and all)

I'm still wondering about something...if FT is for the most part one loop and then a top hat over the same loop, how will that cover the former LJ spot? I keep looking at looking at aerial views of the spot and FT seems so slim of a layout that it will only take up a fraction of the original spot. Are they going to do something with the hillside? Is it part of the new themed area or are they just going to leave the section scalped?

^ Well, didn't SFMM claim FT is the tallest and fastest looping coaster (which it is not)? That's some false advertisement right there.

Maybe this means that it's more plausible for Revolution to have a restoration in the next few years as well! Wasn't it built in 1976? so its 40th anniversary would be in 2016? That would be awesome!

I like Ninja since its sort of built over Jet Stream, it would have been awesome if Fulll Throttle interacted with Log Jammer and the man-made lake it was built on.

When one of the park officials confronted me about this coaster and its details, he said the first launch would be out of the old metro tunnel. I had mixed feelings about what he was saying because it might have all been fake rumors he was giving me but the fact that they put this tunnel on the video makes me me think if there was some merit to what he was saying.

I LOVE MAGIC MOUNTAIN Went there on Thursday and they had both sides of Superman running even though it was a weekday. I was confused because I thought they only ran one side during weekdays but I was delighted by this surprise. I pretty much walked on twice, no wait. Viper seemed to have new wheels also so it wasn't as bumpy as usual. Did I say that I love Magic Mountain? Trying to get one more day in before I go off to college!

I mean, when the employee told me about all the details, I couldn't help but remember about a post I had read on coaster net.. Reading it again it is sort of weird how all the details match up. The employee I talked to working on the petitions also mentioned how the metro tunnel would serve as the launching station. The story on the link, where he is talking with an employee giving out surveys gives the same detail of the tunnel serving as a launch. I mean the whole idea of the coaster is too good to be true yet the coaster he and I heard months apart is practically identical. It makes me wonder if they all just decided make up this super coaster in their mind collectively and spread it out so that these details match to make the rumor seem legit when it probably only serves to get the park extra attention. The actual ride might be entirely different. Whatever, I can only guarantee that I know what I heard but i can't guarantee that the employee was completely truthful. I mean the guy wasn't walking around the whole LLDOD queuing building telling every Joe about this super coaster. He was standing in one spot right before you go to the outside queuing bay and I was lucky enough to get stopped right at that spot.

No. He didn't say that there will be a 400' ride with the vertical corkscrew coming for sure without a doubt. We just gave our email to petition for something like that to happen. He said the petition would go to the main owners of Six Flags Co. so that such a ride could happen. Personally I don't see that happening since they're already investing in the 2013 coaster. And what he said about the 2013. I know it seems too far off, getting back home I was also thinking about the running into Tatsu problem and getting back also. But at the time I was in a pretty excited state, I mean who wouldn't be if they were told this by an employee who deliberately took us to the side to tell us this. I did not even confront him with the 2013 ride question, he asked if we knew about it. He was naming off all these records to us like MM has the most coasters than any where else, MM will now reclaim the record for the tallest rollercoaster, it will again reclaim the record for the fastest (probably only in the US because of Formula Rossa), and it will now claim the length record. At the time he seemed pretty legit knowing all these little details of the coaster. I would be pretty let down if he was just feeding me lies the whole time but hey at least it got me pretty dam excited of what's coming up. I'm sure if at least half of what he said is true, I'm sure it will be nothing short of spectacular. Oh yeah and I did see his name-tag but I forgot his name after spending a whole day at my favorite park. The incident happened pretty early on in the day. Sorry.

I'm brand new here (to this blog and writing on blogs) but the only reason I registered is because I just visited MM today and I had a pretty weird encounter that I really feel I should share. So me and my group were in the LLDOD queuing area and we were stopped at the point right before you go to the outside queuing area. Right when we stopped a park employee (different uniform from the ride workers) asked my group how many of us had ridden so far and how we liked it. Obviously the two of us who have already ridden said it was spectacular! Anyways, he said that the ride has been REALLY REALLY successful the past two weeks. He asked what if that the park was considering another 400' addition similar to the drop only it does a vertical corkscrew and it would be where De Ja was located. Of course we said that would be sick, so he showed us a clipboard showing a list of email addresses. He said that it was a petition that would go to the prime board members of 6 flags Co. So we all decided to write in our emails for this petition, not neceassarily meaning that something this crazy would happen for next year but shows that the park has goals for this type of a ride. ANYWAYS, the employee continued saying if we new that there'd be a big 2013 coaster to fill log jammers place. I said that I've heard of all the rumors of what it could be but I wasn't sure. Well, at this point, what he told me still throws me off and makes me wonder if I even heard correctly because my mind couldn't comprehend what my ears were hearing. Looking back, it could just be him trolling me or throwing me off from it will be but while we were in the moment he seemed really truthful about what he was saying and he seemed really excited to be able to tell us too. He said Kingda Ka is coming to MM. He said it would be positioned to wrap up and above the sky tower and come down. i asked if it would still have multiple launches, he said yes. I asked if there would still be that record breaking loop, he said yes. i asked if it would be going for the longest track length, he said yes. I said no way, that can't happen, but he kept on what he said. I know I'm new so I won't be surprised if some of you don't believe me but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it. I still don't even know if what I heard was entirely true. Maybe they might just build a Kingda Ka-like ride at the park, I don't know. I just know what I heard. I mean, the employee was taking down a list of everyone's emails for this petition so at least it is not some dippin dots worker. So yeah...
