  1. In response of Cedar Point's 2013 teaser... 1. Lol 2. No, no not at all 3. A 95* drop will provide the same sensation if it were to be 600' tall, it would just last longer. 4. This one makes no sense. If the attraction is yet to be announced, how can you Google it? 5. Oh really? link please
  2. "They will be set free" as in more than one? or are they referring to all the heads of Lotan-The Gatekeeper?

  4. There is a new banner outside the main arcade building. It confirms it "will be set free" on Aug.13 3:30 p.m. It also features the same icon with "blue wings" that was seen on the DT banner.
  5. New for 2013, FULL THROTTLE an unique sling shot experience! -Not expecting much else from the announcement. However, a ride of this make/model dosen't seems to take much time to erect. So MM may have something else in store for us
  6. I don't know why it posted three times What is going on?
  7. Anyone else notice that the live webcam isn't working? I hope they relocate it to the Wicked Twister Midway. Then I can pop some pop-corn and watch the bish come down!

  10. So stinger valleyed, again. Mind if i ask how they get the coaster un-stuck?
  11. ^DEFINATLY NOT the name for the new wood coaster at CGA
  12. Going to throw my two cents in. So apparently demolition work is supposed to begin Thursday, August 6
  13. I305 and Steel Dragon 2000 would of been better competitors, my opinion. I wish they would of made 6 competitors instead of 4 But it was still entertaining regardless. I still don't see how Aftershock (Giant Inverted Boomerang) beat Montu, Alpengeist and Shiekra?
  14. Millennium Force won first place in the "extreme heights" category on the Travel Channels: Extreme Coaster Wars. It's competitors.... Intimidator @ Carowinds Diamondback @ Kings Island Kingda Ka @ Great Adventure (lol wut?)
  15. Here's an Idea of mine that I think Cedar Point should use. A bi-annual coaster event for the first and last riders of the year for the three big coasters. People bid for seats on TTD, MF MV and the proceeds go to charity. The rides will be open during Early Entry for the specific riders, each ride should run at full capacity (all trains) for the bidding riders. The riders then can ride the ride as many times as they want for an ENTIRE HOUR. And the ride is open only to the bidders. They could do this for opening and closing day.
  16. Well Today is the Day, Farewell Disaster Transport. Even though I've only ridden you twice (2006, 2012) You've given me a good air-condition ride, with some generic theming. Some may say that you've outlived yourself, others may be sad to see you go. Goodbye Dispatch Master Transport - Avalanche Run (1985/1990 - 2012) Now where's that Wing Rider at!?
  17. Scandia out in Ontario has a portable ride - the drop tower I think.. Didn't really pay much attention. Anyway, my first thought was, well, that it's 'ghetto'. And Scandia is a MUCH smaller park, with a much smaller budget - and it's still cheesy to me. For a big corporate park to install a portable ride that they'll pass off as a new attraction... yeah, not impressed. If you are not going to pay to ride it then why does it matter? So what if it's 'portable' parks do that all the time and if this is something the park can get for less money, make money on it as an upcharge, then easily move or remove it when the time comes can you really blame them? Do you not want the park to do things to try to save and make money so they can invest back into the park with new attractions and things? This kind of a ride will help with that in some way. Parks don't have to put in permanent rides so this idea that a portable ride is wrong is just lame. Besides, most people who will ride it, mainly the GP, won't know or care about that anyway and that is what is important- that people pay for and ride it. Portable or not, who fudging cares- it doesn't matter at all and these complaints about it being portable are just.... whatever. Thank you. People will bash anything that's not coaster related here It will most likely sell to the GP, which is all that matters. By the way, isn't Batman, RRE and GLFF portable as well?
  18. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150824113576286&set=o.155893938367&type=3&theater Lol, just lol some people need to check out some TPR's PTR's *not advertising*

  20. Agreed. The Drop tower(s) will most likely be placed on the front of the structure.
