Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

Thanks for the info! What roller coasters are somewhat a little rough besides Wildcat? What row(s) should I ride since I don't like any roughness on the roller coasters? As mentioned above every coaster is actually pretty smooth. Lightning Racer Thunder(green) was very smooth on all 5 of my rides this year so check that out. Front row on any would be smoothest even on Wildcat. I have found Skyrush to be shaky and actually a bit uncomfortable the past 5 weeks in the back wings, but i love it anyways! The airtime is most powerful back there, But since you don't like roughness, maybe don't sit back there but rather the front which is great! And on any of the steel you can sit anywhere and be good! I prefer Great Bear 3rd row left side, and Storm Runner in the back right side. Comet isn't rough but rather out of control so to speak, Sit in the back on Comet(great airtime) -

1)Sunday night Skyrush first! Then Monday do Fahrenheit, Wildcat, Lightning Racer, Wild Mouse, Storm Runner, Great Bear, Skyrush, Comet! Backwards plan! 2)Obviously Skyrush, or all 3 Intamins! ! Every coaster is pretty good, Wildcat would only be the "rough" one. 3)There is a Smoked BBQ Western type place by Storm Runner and Trailblazer which has a show as well! 4)Have Fun and bring comfortable shoes, there are also some steep paths if anyone has knee or leg issues. -

A heartline roll revolves around a persons heart(hence the name) and stays on the same axis as it entered. So your heart stays in the same general place during the inversion. It was removed from Maverick because it was going too fast and put an excessive amount of stress on the train, supports and would have on people. The hearline roll is still used and in my opinions is a lot of fun cause it feels awkward! Here is a picture with the heartline roll on the right opposed to another inversion Here is a picture from Wikipedia with discription in German! From Stengel himself? -

Theres no way dueling would be a coincidence. Im positive that they had the idea it could and should duel if the operations were on key. -

Unless you want a strained neck or lateral whiplash it would not work. I dont like them on any Intamin coasters but it is the safest and needed. -

^They really should take the world's tallest loop away from SFMM! And I'm keeping my guess at a giga dive! But would B&M do that kind of ride? Seems too crazy for them, although their dive coasters are good and popular now -

Have fun and head to Skyrush! Just remember to do the backwards plan in the morning to get max rides! -
They already finished the track work quite some time ago. Its the fact that the park has no push or urgency to wire this bad boy up and get it rolling for the public! Yes you always have set backs but it shouldn't be that difficult to get this up and running. Hell they could call me up or any of you, to dig a hole and put a tree in ,so we cant blame it on a huge lot of dirt taking for ever. Just get a sense of urgency

You are incorrect on one thing, CP does not have a giga dive But your pretty much correct about anything else -
