  1. Can always go for some Skyrush porn. Saw the TPR members that were there for the East Coast trip today as well! Still no action over by the Midway Tent in terms of markings
  2. Looks like they were quick to take that down! Nice catch though, definitely seems like something unique. Could anyone think maybe a zac-spin? Or possibly a S&S 4D "free spin" prototype? Just because they said you'll be spinning while seeing the view makes me think it won't be indoor?
  3. Awesome report! The theming is incredible so many small details.
  4. Skyrush for sure after 2pm, Storm Runner doesn't really have long lines that often, yet best time as said would be the morning.
  5. I see your thoughts on a dark ride but why would they build another when they have the Extreme Challenge already? Even though that one isn't haunted. Also, a haunted house wouldn't fit the theme of "Midway America"
  6. Yes the that's why it would need to be a new coaster! I think it has a cool location currently though but the Boardwalk expansion in that area would be crucial to have.
  7. Still hopeing for an Intamin here! Should be interesting but since they've started construction and no track has been spotted at Clearmont, I have doubts for B&M at this point
  8. The more I think of it the more it makes sense and that is to change the Wildmouse to a spinning mouse along with moving it across the pathway? I would assume they'd build an entire new coaster.
  9. Anyone see the 2nd clue? Dark ride hmmm... http://www.hersheypark.com/2015/#clue2
  10. You can't simply use footer style for a manufacturer. Intamin used square for I-305 and round for Skyrush, Maverick, ect. This could just as easily be an Intamin giga as a B&M one at this point...or a Mack
  11. Maverick has the mid-course launch with serves as a mid-course block then they can send off another train I believe. Whereas Fahrenheit doesn't have a block after the lift until the first brakes. So a double dispatch wouldn't work.
  12. ^Oh still has the longest lines in the park usually the whole day. Thus why you should go to it right at opening! And as for mentioned above, I don't really think the hill was designed to push people back in their seats, but rather because of how the ride was designed in the small space provided. Honestly at this point with it being open for almost 3 years now I don't think they will ever change the restraints. Even tis year I have noticed in my back row left wing seat the foam seems to be EVEN softer as I can actually grab the foam and squeeze it with great leeway.
  13. I can't really speak on behalf of those who feel pain but I do have a question! For those who feel pain (and I'm not attempting to make fun of or anything) but what type of leg(s) do you guys have. This might be an awkward question, maybe not but I play a high level of hockey so my legs are very strong and I have a few friends in the area who play other various leg related sports who don't have a problem on the ride. Then I have a few skinnier or "weaker" friends who absolutely won't ride it because they feel like their legs "are going to snap in half". Either way it's such a great ride, if only everyone wouldn't feel the pain! On a side note I was at the park last night for five hours and rode Wildcat just to see if there were any markings around the Midway Tent and I could not find any such thing. Only thing notable to me if anything is two blue "X's" on the outside of the fence behind the tent/whip.
  14. First clue released! www.hersheypark.com/2015/#clue1 Clearly revealing the location to be where the Midway tent is
  15. Sorry for the double post, while on Hersheypark Dr Friday I noticed along the fence behind the Whip there are a few Blue "X's" and what appeared to be a couple stakes. Will certainly get photos if I head to the park this week.
  16. I found Comet to be running really well today. Storm Runner's operations were very efficient today as well.
  17. This. Not that agree everything is being taken out but with the bedrock testing that happened earlier this Spring along the fence by Wildcat I think the new attraction will go there. Again I agree I cant see this being a huge coaster, likely a new flat. Maybe they bring back something similar to the old Giant double wheel that used to be behind the Arena but make it inverting? I don't know just speculation
  18. Yay speculation season! I can already bet everyone thinks RMC because of the "new spin on an old classic" but id be happy with a big drop tower. I think something to bring life to the far end of the park again is what we have in store!
  19. NIce!^ Looks like it should be up and open soon!
  20. Was just at the park last night for the first time this year. Rode Skyrush 3 times one in front two in back. I must say the front seat ride I had was the best and smoothest, the back rows create a little rattle or jolt on the first turnaround but other than that it is as smooth as glass. I noticed train 2 to be running better
  21. There is no way they would move the Boardwalk...
  22. You should have learned that in health class
  23. Like you said they get horrible ridership back there because the only people that are that far back in the park are there for the boardwalk. So I have without doubt the next thing built will be back there. I do like the idea of Ironcat
