  1. Hah, I'm with you on this one. Knoebels has one of the nicest clienteles you'll find in an amusement park, but I would avoid PPP because that's "enthusiASSt" season. Grannies taking their grandchildren to the park and locals walking their dogs will be mostly replaced by "enthusiASSts" who have come from far and wide to invade this charming, hometown park. Anyone know if any attractions, restaurants/food stands close AFTER Labor Day Weekend (but BEFORE the Covered Bridge Festival and PPP)? I'm planning a visit on a Saturday sometime in September (most likely the 15th or 22nd). It's been a while since I've visited the park this late in the season, so I'm just checking.
  2. Boulder Dash, very closely followed by Phoenix. Although after having ridden Phoenix on the "famed" third row seat and being launched out of my seat during the entire course of the ride and even landing on the seat divider at the end of the seemingly endless bunny hop finale, I might even have to place Phoenix ahead of Boulder Dash. And yep, I've been on all the top contenders - El Toro, Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, etc. Phoenix beats them all.
  3. My wait for Green Lantern was also three hours last summer, but the ride broke down a couple of times and the ride operators weren't as efficient as they could have been - leaving many seats vacant when there was a long line of single riders. I was expecting something a little different than Mantis because of the reviews I had read online, but they delivered the exact same ride - painful leg pressure and just plain ol' boring B&M stand-upness. I might be the only one who prefers the quirky Togo prototype stand-ups over B&Ms.
