Don't know if anyone has noticed this... but not only has Shouka Stadium been renamed to Pacific Stadium on the park map, but Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has removed "Celebrate Shouka" from the show lineup on the website. They've also removed all traces of Shouka on the webiste. Could this be the beginning of the end of Shouka? Edit: It hasn't been changed on the website's park map but the park map I got when I visited last week has Shouka Stadium renamed to Pacific Stadium. I'll post the picture later if you guys want it.

For a quick/yummy/reasonably priced lunch... I heard Wawa has come to town. Deli subs made right in front of you, coffee, freshly made smoothies, and made in store milkshakes to name a few specialties. And it's surprisingly good. Here's their menu- http://www.wawa.com/WawaWeb/Freshfood.aspx And Orlando locations- http://www.wawa.com/WawaWeb/FloridaFutureLocations.aspx You can ask any Mid-Atlantic resident on here. Wawa is a great stop for a quick and easy lunch.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I made the discovery that that the front is REALLY bad! -
I can confirm this. RoadRunner Express and Boomerang were down too. Though I believe Boomerang reopened later on. It seems whatever happened was quite unexpected as they told us to wait in line and it would open momentarily then a few minutes later told us it would be closed all day. V2 was also closed for a little under an hour cause of something with the wheels. Quite a bad day for SFDK. The best was that RoadRunner Express was closed due to weather. Oh Six Flags!

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

The problem is that the line often extends past the single ride line entrance. You have to wait in the line for the line to get in the line. Also, when I was at the park, in a 2 hour period, Mammoth got stuck 2 times. Not sure if this is normal or it was having problems that day. -
What they really need to do is invest in the renewal of the park. Though the newer parts are in decent shape, the older parts could really use an update. The paint is peeling on many of the fences and the bathrooms need to be moved out the trailers. I also think the park could update Shouka Stadium. The cheap temporary light poles and fading mural are really making the park look like a luxury carnival. They also could invest in upgraded enclosures and new shows. SFDK has such a valuable resource (the animals)... they just need to use it more wisely. Another idea I had is that the fairgrounds across the street are outdated, landlocked, and probably wouldn't mind moving to a larger lot (such as the large lot across the highway.) Maybe before they start their major overhaul, Six Flags can buy the lot and build a Hurricane Harbor. Of course, Six Flags would have to be willing to invest... but with how profitable the park apparently is, maybe Six Flags is ready to spend big for the future. Just my thoughts of how the park could expand...

Anyways, I think The Fastlane would work better as a QBot. At least QBot puts some order into the system. Without any order I could see Fastlane getting out of control if a large group purchases 20-30 Fastlanes and all goes on Blue Streak together. Six Flags at least makes them wait. -
The "TPR Klassy Kruise" 2012 Update Thread!

I suggest the Carnival Valor for the next Klassy Kruise. Why? -You WILL get lost. -You WILL get cancer. -You WILL get bored. -You WILL laugh at the dress code. Though I have heard the Valor has the best food/service in the fleet. -

I thought World of Color was at Disneyland" In History Class our teacher was explaining canal locks. ( )Kid in class "That's how rollercoasters work!" Then the entire class agreed. -

Looking on Google Maps, I suppose they could destroy the 2 small ones closest to the Ferris Wheel. However, depending on how the park does with those pavilions they may not want to demolish them. If they take those 2 out they could fit a small top spin sized ride there. In all honestly the park screwed it's self with the waterpark expansion. It shouldn't have put the wave pool and lazy river in those locations. I highly doubt Pepsi Center ever needs the small rectangular parking lot, so, they could have bought that and gotten a few more acres. What the park needs to do is pull a reverse CGA and use their parking lots for expansion and contract parking out to Pepsi Center. Without that the park is not going anywhere. -
Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread

What Disney needs to do is change how they do Fast Passes. Instead of having one option and one option only you should be able to make reservations as you would at a restaurant or show. With the new touch screen technology out Disney could easily give you a list of times you can come back instead of giving you a set in stone time. This would get rid of basically all problems Disney has with it's Fast Pass system. If you have lunch at 1 you would book your Fast Pass after or before. Of course then Disney would have to work out how to limit the amount of Fast Passes people can get. Maybe one every 2 hours? -

Very interesting. I always felt Paramount saw the park in a different way then other companies. Would have loved to see what the park would be like today with all those attractions. -
