De Ja Vu at SFMM. My Thing was open, and i mean open. It was opening to at least 60 degrees. The ride ops locked it in, but then we got stuck on the first vertical lift and It popped out again. I had no choice but to practically stand on the seat in front of me. No, I am not lying. It did happen. I wasn't even scared. I knew that gravity and peak physical fitness was on my side. I had no worries edit** ^ well whaddyaknow? I lived your nightmare...

July 3rd, 2010. SFMM. Revolution. Me and my friend were up to ride soon as the next train came back. While the people in front of us were loading, there was this kid who was WAAAAAAYYYY under the height limit! The employee measured him and said "Whatever let him ride " everyone cheered and I was laughing. Then I heard this guy next to me say "Watch that train come back and noone in the seat". Apparently a lot of people heard him say that cuz when the OTHER train came back, that specific seat was empty! Everyone was like "Wait...wasn't that where the kid was sitting?" I quickly told the employee "Hey wheres that kid? " she then laughed quietly and SCREAMED when she saw the empty seat! Everyone was so scared it was awesome!

One train operation on Excelerator isn't that bad. One train operation on Riddler's, now THERE is a problem!

Didn't the LA times already report that after one month of re-opening they will continue to race both sides one forwards and one backwards?

I think they might keep the cars and use them again (lab bar ones). They want people to once again talk about how scary the ride is (backwards or forwards) and the only way the ride can be *scary* facing forward is with the lap bars.

Hopefully the old one since it only has a lapbar. That's why I ask the question. I just cannot see the spending millions on two brand spankin new cars, only to use them for a few month and put the old 15 year-old car with lots of wear and tear back on the tracks. I see them putting the new train on forwards. --Robb exactly what I was thinking. I hope they run the trains at 100 mph for at LEAST this whole year. Heck, put solar panels in the park! Do something to keep that cost low! edit** I have been thinking (since the early Bizarro rumors) why don't they place LSM's on the track even on the curve? That's a guaranteed launch to the top and cheap as heck.

^Sounds like a pretty nice route, but only when I'm with friends that are used to the insane rides. I'm gonna go over there with some friends that have only been to Disneyland and one of them hasn't even been to Knotts. So I need to warm em up to the big boy rides

I heard that weekdays AFTER local spring break is totally empty. But would a weekend after spring break be good too? I'm thinking about going there with some friends.

Does anybody know any good days to go if I buy a season pass? Days after spring break? When is spring break for LAUSD students and surrounding schools to SFMM??
