Something tells me that the "family coaster" isn't going to be the fastest ride in the park, I mean, really? Blitzen-Volt is a bad name IMO.

Are all of you guys taliking about the guy who is oldish who has a great attitude and works at 305? He sometimes puts in his own voice before the "Gentlemen, start your engines!". He says sometimes, "Enjoy you ride!", in a really enthusiastic voice. If you are taliking about him then I know who you are talking about.

^Yea when I was in line for it I realized the shaking was like a warning for the drop. A loud rumble and then DROP!

I had a mini trip to Busch Gardens today and I got a ride on Mach Tower, Griffon, and Apollos Chariot! One word to describe Mach Tower : EPICNESS! From the bottom of the tower you can hear the rumble mechanism! It is truly an awesome ride! Go Busch Gardens! Another winner! The Griffon crew was on there A-game today and moved what said a "1 hour wait" into a 30 minute wait! Apollo's Chariot's crew was awesome too, the line was backed up into the entrance tent but was only a 20 minute wait! It was a fun lttle trip and I cant wait for next year!

Awesome! Looks like I'll be going back to Kings Dominion in 2012!

Ok, I just got back from Carowinds! It was awesome! What was really bizzare was that Intimidator was walk on the whole day and I rode 3 times in a row, and this is SATURDAY! Everything else wasa short wait to, the longest wait I had was for Carolina Goldrusher (figures ). My first ride on Nighthawk was today, Its got a spot in my top 10, maybe even 5. I also rode Thunder Road, and I think Rebel Yell is better/smoother. Afterburn was pretty awesome, like always. Carolina Cobra was pretty beast too. Carolina Cyclone was smooth in both vertical loops, after that pure pain, still fun though. Vortex was fun, but rougher than I remember. Intimidator was doing AWESOME. It is definitely moving up to #2 in my top 10 again (It was #2 last year but bumped down by Exped. Everest and Griffon). Since I got 2 new credits I am now up to 30! So heres the coaster count! Coaster Count: Intimidator x3 Nighthawk x1 Afterburn x1 Vortex x1 Carolina Cobra x1 Carolina Cyclone x1 Carolina Goldrusher x1 Thunder Road x1

Erm ok. Andrew you haven't even been to Kings Dominion. HAHA!

And thats where BGW beats Kings Dominion.

Sometimes I wonder why this always happens at Kings Dominion but not at BGW, their Quick Queue passes cause no trouble at all.

Um, we knew since last Septemeber we were getting a launching coaster and not a woodie. And it is Verbolten not verboten. And we also knew last Septemeber that we weren't gettinga woodie because it would be too loud.

They could have employees where they enter. Yea, they could make that kind of system at Kings Dominion where they can just enter through the exit.

I have been before guys I have been on most of the coasters and I agree that Afterburn is GREAT but the length, height, and speed of Intimidator make it a better coaster IMO. EDIT: I checked weather.com and the forecast is windy (13 mph), will that effect rides in anyway?

Ok, I amgoing to Carowinds this Saturday. From what I hear the best plan for a weekend day is Nighthawk first, then Intimidator, then anythinge else? Please give me a guide on what to do when, and what lines should be like. Thanks guys.

Really?! Hulk is pretty much my bottom B&M... insta-headache! Um you got the quoting wrong I didn't say that, I said I would like a B&M or an Intamin, I havent even been on hulk.
