Hurricane Harbor is meh. Last went with my girlfriend at the time five years ago and it was nothing special then, and I doubt that it's changed to any meaningful degree since then. Brutally hot walkways, long lines, and relatively few attractions.
Yeah, there's like literally no reason to eat at the park ever when you can just drive a couple minutes up the street to Nicky's and get a ridiculously good multi-pound slice for wicked cheap.
The old trains provided a FAR smoother ride. The new ones will either box your head or vibrate aggressively enough to cause short-term back pain. I generally have good luck with them, but I'm not in denial and can definitely see how they would beat the hell out of someone, especially smaller riders.
I guess my relatively good luck with Goliath's new trains came to an end today. Rode in the very back and the return run practically rearranged my goddamn spine. I'm tall and have large shoulders, so it doesn't really throw me around too much, but it still found a way to do a number on me.
