  1. ^they might have requested to go to different hospitals. in my area people opt to go an extra 10 miles than the hospital located in town. doubtful it will be replaced, if it was a major malfunction, i could see a new train, much like when morey's boomerang basically failed.
  2. Wow. That was some of the worst reporting I have ever read. I saw a blurb in the news about restraints opening on the boomerang at LaRonde. I know there is probably nothing to it, just strange that the most recent coaster incidents involved the same type of coaster using the same type of train (OG 80's Arrows).
  3. ^^Minus the fact that the ride is still so rough the back of the seat literally punches you in the back of the head the whole ride.
  4. I am pretty bummed about this. i love(d) the scream machine, and when they repainted it a few years back that gave me hope the the ride would be around a bit longer. I got my last ride a few weeks ago and i dont know if it was due to me knowing it was leaving, but it was super smooth and all around amazing. It's a shame they do not make rides with double loops anymore, as back to back loops are my favorite element on a coaster ever. I am still clinging to hope that chang will not be the replacement, even though we all know it will be. its not that i do not like stand-ups, i am just not a big fan of B&M's. They are too calculated, and too boring (dead horse i know). I have been hoping that six flags would give one of their flagship parks a new ride rather than one not that much younger than GASM. And since this is the GADV discussion thread, I will discuss the park as a whole. I have been coming on my own for the past five years since i first got my drivers license, and the park has come a long way. The employees this season have been extremely helpful and nice, and the park has been nice and clean. same can be said about my visit to SFA earlier this year. Hopefully six flags is getting itself on the right path, finally.
  5. cannibal holocaust is disturbing. so disturbing, the producer was arrested until he could account for all of the actors.
  6. first post on TPR! CHEA! anyways, i have been reading through the SFA thread for a while now, and i don't know why people feel slighted by the ride selection. Sure SFA does not get large attractions like many other six flags parks, but they have a really well rounded selection. i live in jersey, so sfgadv is my home park, and all i have to ride is coasters and ONE water ride. i personally feel that superman is better than nitro, batwing better than superman ultimate flight, and wild one blows rotting lumber out of the water. i have been to both parks this year and can have more fun with non-enthusiasts at SFA. SFA has more water rides, a nice water park, and a great selection of rides for everyone. the only thing that i feel is a downside to SFA is maintanance as others have said. for a smaller park, SFA has enough for me to drive 2 hours a few times a season. its come a long way since i was there 3 years ago, a very long way. PS... i would trade you guys ka for jokers jinx, nitro for supes, superman for batwing, rolling thunder for wild one.
