  1. I went on Falcon's Fury today twice, it was Awesome!!! Fairly tame though, but that tilt effect is insane at that height. Was looking at the ride specs on the wall and the drop isnt quite 300 ft its listed as 281 ft(tower is 335) and top speed is 58 mph instead of 60(it feels a hell of alot faster than that though). Best view in Tampa at the top And compared to most freefalls, the actual freefall isnt very long, probably only has 100 ft of pure freefall and the rest is mainly a controlled descent. But overall its definitely my new fav ride at Busch Gardens.
  2. The kind of ride i was hoping for was a African version of Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, like after Mt Kilimanjaro or something.
  3. I love the Paint Scheme for Falcon's Fury on the post on the previous page. And last thing i heard recently that Gwazi will be replaced around 2015-2016 and the latest rumor is that it will be a B&M Giga thats over 300 ft tall similar to Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland.
  4. Yea on my way home to Tampa from Baltimore, my plane flew straight smack over Busch Gardens Tampa on approach into TPA(I could actually see the roller coasters moving lol) its only about 10 miles from TPA airport.
  5. Not sure if someone made a topic on this yet, but Busch Gardens Tampa is building a 335 ft Drop Tower(the tallest freestanding drop tower in North America)I think Lex Luthor is the tallest drop tower though, but its not freestanding since its attached to a roller coaster. But anyway Falcons Fury will climb to about 300 ft and when it reaches the top a few seconds later the seats will tilt forward at a 90 degree angle and plummet towards the Earth at 60 MPH. Busch Gardens made this incredible announcement on June 11th 2013 Heres the official trailer: Photo I took on 6/19/2013 of the banner around the construction site(previously where Sandstorm was) in the Timbuktu area.
  6. The longest line ive ever waited in was probably Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa about 2 months after it opened. The wait time was posted as 90 min and i probably waited about 130-140 min. Me and my 7 year old niece were like 30-45 min into the line and it temporaily closed for Technical Difficulties and took about 35-40 min for it to reopen, and it was hot as hell out, over 90F, it was so hot that they were handing out ice cubes to people in line lol. Another ride i waited in line for a long ass time was a KMG Speed at the Florida State Fair, waited close to 2 hours, since it only holds 8 people at a time and has a duration of about 5 min, and the stupid idiots running the ride only let 4 people at a time.
  7. Ive never been to Fun Spot before. Always looked boring and overpriced with lack of rides. But now it looks worth going too. Those 2 coasters look awesome Now Magical Midway has some competition lol
